A. Vitale & Son just finished a job for me. They were excellent. Beautiful pavers in my back yard, both stoops redone in stone and all of my concrete work was done to perfection! Anthony saw my vision and carried it out expertly. His workers are professional, polite and accomodating. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They went above and beyond. Every time I come out of my house, I am amazed at how wonderful it looks.

They're very good on price, on craftsmanship and they're on time. They're on their third job with us so obviously, we like them.

They aren't cheap - but you get what you pay for. The work is stunning. They showed up every day as scheduled and if it rained they would show up and work for as long as they could till it became a constant pour. They showed up on time for the estimate and were very helpful in picking out the brick and paver to be used. The senior Vitale does the lions-share of the work, but supervises the rest of the crew well and they're all trained well in masonry. And, on top of that, they were working through a nasty heatwave that lasted for more than a few days. The old man is a real sweatheart.

The experience was good. They did what they said they were going to do, but I was a little disappointed in the design of the finished product. It could be that I wasn't clear in telling them what I wanted. The son did the original work and it was quite costly at $12,000. The father came to do the repair and it was very expensive. They had put this tapping of limestone or something on the top of the retaining wall, which I didn't really want, and it was all coming loose. It all had to be re-glued down. They had to re-point where they put the grout in around the edge of the wall since it was cracking. They had made the wall taller than the original one and water was collecting in my garden like a bathtub and ruining the wall and everything. The father drilled some holes so that the water could drain out and fixed it. I found them to be expensive but I don't know what other people spend on such work. I thought that he should not have even charged me since the work done originally by them was not so old and the fact that it needed repair wasn't due to my neglect. They came right away when I called them and were on time while they were working. They came when they said they were going to come back to check everything. I may use them for some repair work but not for any start-from-scratch project.
