They did just wonderfully! They were fast, affordable and helpful. They were also very trusting and I was highly satisfied with their service and would recommend them without reserve.

They did not charge me for the diagnosis. I think they proved right because the light went away.

There I was, on the Hudson River Drive, when all of a sudden my car gets a flat. This is in November of 2009, shortly after I had replaced my tires (or so I thought). Luckily, the garage, # 1 Auto Tech Group, was right there at the light. I immediately pull in with my car thrumping on its rim. A lovely man comes out and tells me the obvious; I have a flat. He asked if I had a spare -- I didn't know so he located it in my trunk and then proceded to change the tire right there. He told me the tire was old (this was the tire I had just had replaced by Bear Automotive at great expense!) so I was extremely disappointed and disbelieving but what do I know about cars. He showed me how I had not grooves left and explained how you could put on used tires. Guess how much he charged me for taking off the tire, locating my spare and putting it on? Nothing! He told me not to worry about it! Are you kidding me, in New York City?! I gave him money anyway because that was unbelievable that he helped me out like that; immediately, no fuss, wonderful. When I am in the city, I now use them for everything. They always do my inspections and I never, ever feel ripped off, which was my situation whenever I dealt with other repair shops.
