The Keating Brothers are just that--two brothers who do home improvement, sometimes with the assistance of other family members.  We have contracted with them many times, most recently for the construction of a new laundry room.  In addition to their skill, we appreciate their carefulness not to exceed the written estimate, to inform us of problems they discover in our 90-year-old home, and to provide us with options (at various costs) for addressing those problems.  Since our home was built close to a streambed, we used to see flooding in our basement, but with the Keatings' help the basement is now bone dry.  The sump and French drain that were part of the laundry-room project resolved the last of our water problems.  Since this is a small firm, the work may proceed slowly--the laundry room took about two weeks.  On the other side of the coin, however, is the act that the Keatings make themselves available when larger firms would not.  A few years ago, for example, when our home was partially without electricity on New Year's Day, one of he brother came over, figured out the problem (a wire pulled loose by the wind), and got Con Ed to fix the problem within a couple of hours!

They treat your job as though they were working on their own home. They explain whatever steps they must take and give excellent guidance as to steps they feel one should take or avoid. When they are finished, they leave no mess to clean up and the site is left close to spotless. A pleasure to deal with in all respects.
