Most importantly, the consult with Khattar saved me from spending unnecessary monies. He does not try to push unneeded equipment on you. I found him to be very honest and efficient. Also, with soooo many contractors who do not even return a phone call and hardly ever show up as promised and on time, Khattar is a refreshing change. Use this company! You won't be disappointed.

I would highly recommend Digital Media Installation to anyone looking to install or upgrade high quality TV, audio and home networking equipment. Khattar, the owner, is very easy to work with; he is punctual and keeps work areas clean and neat. He returned to my home at 7pm to show me how to use the system after it was installed, and he showed up on a Sunday to fix a problem with my WiFi (and refused to take payment for the work!). Although DMI sells TVs and audio equipment from some of the top manufacturers, Khattar didn't press me to buy any equipment through him. After I checked his prices against Amazon, Costco and other outlets, I ended up buying the TV and most of the other equipment through him as his prices were very competitive. His work exceeded my high expectations, and I will definitely work with him again.

They were superb. They showed us how to navigate our various electronic gadgets and that has changed our lives. He did what he said he was going to do and then he explained what he had done. Now, we can easily go back and forth from watching stuff off the internet, my DVDs or regular TV. We can do it very comfortably now. He was terrific. We had a little trouble setting up the first meeting. I've recommended him to other people. He straightened it out completely and then explained to us what we had to do.

Always punctual, Khattar first came over to provide an estimate and work with me to figure out how I should mount my television and surround. Gave some great suggestions (updating my receiver to one that accepts HDMI cables would mean much less wiring through my walls and I love the receiver he recommended) but never pressured me to make one decision or another. Was very conscious of potential trouble and made sure I knew what I was really asking for.
I thought his pricing was fair and competitive and he held to his estimate.
Installation was easy. He got along and worked well with my contractors who were painting and repairing the walls as he finished. He was very patient and flexible (this was key when we realized I had forgotten one of my power cables and needed to come up with an alternative).
My finished tv/surround sound looked and sounded great. I can't recommend Khattar and his team highly enough.

The products he recommended and installed were fantastic and he was also happy to work with the mount we provided. Highly recommend using Khattar. He is responsive, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He showed up when he said that he would, on time, and did everything that we had discussed perfectly. He was not rushed or time sensitive to finish the job, he took his time and got everything right. With the few quirks that we have had with the sonos or the universal remotes, he has been helpful and come back to take care of the problem. I spoke to a few different stereo people before using Khattar and he is by far the best of all of the ones that we spoke with. Two thumbs up!

I recently moved into a new house and purchased a new TV and surround system. I needed the TV to be mounted above the fireplace, and the speakers installed in a way that was attractive and functional. I elected to get two quotes and ended up going with DMI. Overall the job was done very well. Initially there were some problems when he (Khattar) left, but a quick phone call fixed the problem in a matter of seconds. He definitely knows his business very well. He also took the time to unhook and clean up my whole system installation, improving all of the hookups with HDMI clips, and tidying up all of the wires. I also had asked him to look at my kitchen and patio speakers to make them work as a and quot;zone 2.and quot; And he was able to complete this job as well, even though one of the outside speakers didn't work properly. He quickly went into the wall volume switch, adjusted some wires, and now everything works in and quot;zone 2and quot; as well.



He's a very nice gentleman, very knowledgeable, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him and his company again.

The first Roku3 I'd purchased from Amazon wouldn't connect with router from Comcast, despite Khattar's best efforts. He was amazingly calm and patient despite the continued frustration of it not working. He used his phone and my laptop to try and circumvent the problem, but no luck. I suggested that perhaps the Roku3 was defective, so Khattar looked on the Amazon site with me, and advised me to purchase the cheaper, more basic Roku. He returned when promised, and quickly installed the new, more basic Roku. That one's software was out of date, but he updated the software through the Roku website. Solved the problem. Calm, quick process, ending with success! Very glad to have used him rather than trying to do this myself! So worth the money, and it's a pleasure to interact with him. I was very happy when he left after the job was finished.

Called Khattar on July 4th week looking to get 3 TV's mounted and he worked me in within 2 days and work was terrific. He was on time, polite, responsive and offered solutions that resulted in a great end product at a very reasonable price. We are very happy with the work and would definitely work with DMI again . We also left him and his crew alone in house and he was very trustworthy. Forget Geek Squad. These guys knew their stuff.

Khattar and his team exceeded my expectations andwent beyond the call of duty. I have quite a bit of networking to complete and would not hesitate to use him again.

Installation went flawlessly - Even missing washers needed for mounting (missing from my items purchased earlier) were instantly available on their truck.

Khattar's work was excellent. He was prompt in coming to my home to evaluate the audiovisual system I wanted to install, and was extremely knowledgeable about the equipment and what would be fitting for the space. He recommended a Marantz receiver and was very specific about its advantages over other possibilities. He hooked up the receiver to my HDTV and in-ceiling speakers and added a subwoofer and did a great job. He was fast, friendly and very professional. When I needed to contact him he was very responsive. He did a great job. His price was very reasonable.

We had used Value Electronics in Scarsdale a few years ago to mount our 53and quot; super thin Samsung plasma tv and install a sound bar subwoofer, tuner and universal remote. It never quite worked properly. The remote and IR sensors were sloppily set up and never worked well. The picture on the tv didn't look as great as it did in the store and we had a very difficult time having the store send someone to fix the problem. Finally, we found Khattam on Angie's List and gave him a call. It was a Saturday morning and he picked up his cell phone immediately. He was at our house 4 hours later to assess the situation. For $250, far less than and quot;Valueand quot; Electronics charged, he was able to totally optimize our system. He fixed our jacked up universal remote and sound system as well. Great job! Really nice guy. Very fair price. Easily accessible.

HD TV. Sound bar. Receiver. DVD. Apple TV -- all of varying ages and manufacturers -- were set up in my new home but not working properly. Am okay with electronics but not good enough to fix our TV issues with catching a signal or to correct aspect ratio issues or figuring out which controllers do what. Khattar came and made quick work of it. He optimized the system to be the best it could be. He also was respectful of my property. Shoes off at the door is a nice touch. Although he is overqualified for this kind of work I am very appreciative of the work he did.

He did a beautiful job and it was inexpensive. I am really happy with the service. In terms of the price I had got another quote which was a lot more.
