I recently enlisted the services of ZPC for a complete overhaul of my basement laundry room, and I couldnâ t be happier with the outcome. I got Bowieâ s number from a friend who had their bathroom redone, and she is a stickler and never recommends anyone. So, when she recommended Bowie and his company, I knew he was going to be good. From the initial consultation to the final touches, their team demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication. Bowie even drove me to Home Depot and made me a material list with links in an easy-to-read format, so I knew what was being installed. We spent some time before the job even started discussing different tiles and waterproofing. I learned a lot from him. I was concerned about the tiles being slippery, and he explained the â ANSIâ tile rating system to me and about rectified tile for a tile grout joint. That was among many other things. I also hate critters, so he explained to me they will seal every little hole and make it look good while doing it. My floor was also uneven, and they were able to level it! Transformation Details: Initial State: The laundry room was originally an eyesoreâ dark, outdated, and somewhat neglected, as you can see in the picture before it was renovated. The concrete floors and exposed pipes gave it a rough, unfinished appearance. It desperately needed a makeover to become a usable and pleasant space. Completed Renovation: Bowie and Zeus Painting Co. worked their magic, turning the room into a bright, welcoming, and highly functional area. The man who did the tile workâ s name was Cesar, and he is a meticulous magician. I know this is a smaller job, but to me, it was big. Here are some of the standout features of their work: 1. New Flooring: â ¢ The transition from the old concrete to sleek, modern tiles was remarkable. You cannot see it in the picture, but they also waterproofed underneath. The new flooring not only enhances the roomâ s appearance but also adds durability and ease of maintenance. 2. Updated Walls and Ceiling: â ¢ The walls and ceiling received a thorough refinishing and a fresh coat of paint in a light, airy color. This transformation significantly brightened the room, making it feel much larger and more inviting. 3. Improved Plumbing and Electrical: â ¢ The team expertly reworked the plumbing and electrical systems, neatly organizing and concealing pipes and wires. This upgrade not only improved functionality but also increased safety. 4. Added Features: â ¢ Bowie recommended a dolly system for my dryer to not only raise it but also make it movable when I needed to clean out the dryer vent. The washer and dryer were properly aligned and secured with locking caster wheels. The cherry on top was the trap cover. I had a very heavy rusted steel plate that covered my sewer trap and water meter. They fabricated one out of heavy-duty light aluminum and installed a handle. I had some leftover tile risers, and they secured them to the plate, saving me money and repurposing those tiles that I loved! 5. Meticulous Attention to Detail: â ¢ Every aspect of the renovation reflected ZPCâ s meticulous attention to detail. From the precise installation of tiles to the flawless paint job, their craftsmanship was evident throughout. There was an obstacle with the door. Since the tile raised the floor, they had to lift the whole door and frame. When it was lifted, they realized underneath the threshold was rotted and replaced it free of charge! Overall Impression: Working with Bowie, Cesar, and Alaura was an absolute pleasure. Bowie and the team were incredibly professional, responsive, and committed to delivering a top-notch result. They adhered to the timeline and budget, which I greatly appreciated. Thank you Zeus Painting Co!
