Overall, Fernando Honore and Hilda Ortiz were a pleasure to work with--warm, funny, and creative and responsive when there were problems (which there were with our electrical wiring and plumbing, and with some cabinetry measurements). We were living in the apartment during the renovation and they did their best to hurry it along. Their work crew was friendly, efficient, and neat. There were some delays in the delivery of cabinetry, which caused a domino effect on the completion of the project. The new poly coating on the floor was scratched during the appliance installation, for which they took responsibility. The project ran a little over the estimate but largely because of unanticipated structural problems like plumbing encountered along the way.
