+ -1 moreOverall, Fernando Honore and Hilda Ortiz were a pleasure to work with--warm, funny, and creative and responsive when there were problems (which there were with our electrical wiring and plumbing, and with some cabinetry measurements). We were living in the apartment during the renovation and they did their best to hurry it along. Their work crew was friendly, efficient, and neat. There were some delays in the delivery of cabinetry, which caused a domino effect on the completion of the project. The new poly coating on the floor was scratched during the appliance installation, for which they took responsibility. The project ran a little over the estimate but largely because of unanticipated structural problems like plumbing encountered along the way.
Description of Work: complete kitchen renovation beginning with removal of old cabinets and appliances, floor refinishing, overseeing building of new cabinetry, installation of cabinets and new appliances, measuring and installation of corian counter top, removal of old lighting fixtures and installation of new ones, building of under counter shelving, tiling back splashes. In addition, 3 ceiling fans were installed, which meant correcting old problematic wiring. The floor to our apartment entry way was also replaced and refinished.
