At the Riverdale Veterinary Group, our mission is to offer the finest veterinary care possible, while being compassionate and understanding of all the patients that come through our door. Veterinary clinics should be staffed only by animal-lovers. At our practice we insist that everyone treats the animals the way they would treat their own pet. No better than the doctor I ususally use but could nto get an appt when needed. My usual vvvVet charges about 400 less and did a better job.

I saw Dr Fried, who has been taking care of them for 13yrs. , since they were kittens. On this visit, we went over feedings, when they vomited, behavior, medications, he carefully examined them. Then made recommendations. He explained what blood tests were needed and why. Ernie is a " frequent flyer" he has multiple health issues and has seen other vets. I am happy with all of them. There have been times I have come from work and found Ernie down, all I need to do is call and run down to the office, the staff is great. The tech know how to handle the animals and the wonderful front desk people are great. I am so glad Dr Fried is in the neighbor.

It was excellent. Dr. Fried has a way with animals. My cat is a typical cat and doesn't like anyone, but by the end of the exam he was purring in Dr. Fried's arms. The whole staff is wonderful.

I did find her from Angie's List, but Jennifer from Pawrific recommended her, and if you're still interested to know, the practice is called Riverdale Veterinary Group. We were very happy with them. We will keep that practice. The doctor is Dr. Palmeri. Definitely Dr. Palmeri keeps calling back. We think she has a great bedside manner. We just love her and the practice as well. Everybody is very professional. They're very punctual and just very reassuring all around.

I enjoyed my visit to the Vet, the staff is friendly and the Vet is just great. My kitten Chichi has been going to a different Vet but after a friend's recommendation we gave this place a try. The wait was a little long but, would definitely go back.

It went very well. We've always had a good experience with this veterinary group. We go there for both of our cats -- sister and brother, Lyric and Tempo - almost 12-year old domestic short-hairs. The entire staff are very tuned in to the needs of the animals and are very caring. Our vet, Dr. Palmeri, is so kind and shows a sincere concern for all animals. Our cat Tempo has hypertension, which he is being treated for with medication, and early-stage kidney disease for which he gets special prescription food. He got a good report and we don't have to see Dr. Palmeri until September. We would highly recommend this group.

Dr. Fried and his staff did a great job taking care of our pug who needed a teeth cleaning. He is an older dog with a few health issues so we were concerned about anesthesia. They handled all of our questions and made us comfortable. They took great care of him and followed-up in the days following to make sure he was doing OK.

I think Riverdale Veterinary Group is a very good group. It is a crowded practice because they are good veterinarians. When you go you have to wait so you have to plan on being there for a while. Their service is good. I found that the veterinarian's ability to practice on your animals is very good. They provide very good veterinary care for your pet. That's why you go. It is a popular practice because they are good so when you go there is a bit of a wait and you have to plan for that. I have had a couple of pets that they have cared for. I had one pet, a cat that unfortunately contracted cancer. I found they were very compassionate and very kind not only to the animal but also to the owner because I had to put him to sleep. They were there all the way through and they really supported you all the way through the experience. I have nothing bad but only good things to say about them for that. I am due to see them because I have 2 cats. One is up to date and the other guy needs the shots coming up in about a month. I will be using them for that. The prices are in range with what the other prices are in the area as far as I can see. Veterinary care is an expense. You are taking them to the doctor and they run the practice and keep the roof over their head as an employee so of course it is an expense. They are not exorbitantly expensive. They are in the range of what the other people are charging. They are very good at the quality of care. They really try to address your needs. They kind of let you know when you come in that there are a few people ahead of you and you need to wait. If you can't then you need to reschedule. I think they try to keep pretty close to their schedule, of course when you go to any doctor's office or have them come in if it needs more attention than they expected. Once we had an emergency come in once when our pet was hit with a car. Of course it puts everybody back. I would want them to step aside if my pet was hit with a car also. I have no problem with that. Anytime there is a delay, there is a reason. They are very professional. I have a cat here that is due for his shots. He has a tendency to come out. He doesn't like being brushed and he needs some grooming as well so I will be going for that.

They had to do a bunch of testing, so it was kind of expensive. What I like about them is that the appointments are easy to get, however we generally have to wait a while when we get there. The vets there are very knowledgeable. I am satisfied with their overall services.

No problems -short wait. Things seem to be overpriced to do checks that don't seem to require specialized medical help. Insurance reimbursement eased the pain. Office is efficient though the staff can be cold. Doctor Fried (owner) was at the front desk doing clerical work. Although we never met, a smile or a "hello" would have been nice, especially since he has probably seen by dog before, since it has been boarded there on two occasions (no problems with the boarding).

It's wonderful that this group has evening and weekend hours. But one pays for this convenience. Appointments usually run late (often 1 hour plus).

Our pet poodle Dorie was not eating and was having diareah, we brought in a fecal sample .Dr Fried diagnosed our dog with having an intestinal infection as well as a swollen eye due to some trauma. She was treated right away and the staff answered all of the questions we had concerning her aftercare. We were told to call the next day for the fecal results.

I love Riverdale Veterinary Group. I have confidence their treatment, they know what they're doing. I feel comfortable having them handle my animals and I have two dogs and a cat. I'm not a very trusting person, so saying this is saying a lot.

My cat ended up needing her anal glands expressed (poor kitty), but since I wasn't sure that was the problem, I went ahead and had her see the actual doctor as well. I asked if I could see them do the procedure and the doctor and assistant performed it in front of me and explained the process thoroughly in case I felt comfortable doing it on my own if needed in the future.
The doctor was also helpful in that he told me that if I needed to come in and have it done by them again sometime in the future, I could just make an appointment with a technician and not have to see the doctor / pay his fee.
Reception, techs, and doctor were all very friendly, helpful, and professional.

THEY ARE FROM CORNELL. THEY ARE BOTH GRADUATES FROM THERE. THEY ARE BIG ON THE EAST COAST WITH ANIMALS. WE LIVE IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF NEW YORK AND WE MET WITH THE BREEDER IN THE NORTHERN PART OF NEW YORK. THE FINAL EXAMINATION WAS DONE AT CORNELL VETERINARY CLINIC. WHEN I BROUGHT HER TO THE VET, IT WAS PRETTY ELITE, IVY LEAGUE STUFF.

THEY ARE VERY NICE. I WANT TO SEE IF HE'S SINGLE SO I CAN FIX HIM UP WITH MY NIECE. HE IS VERY GOOD. THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEBODY THERE. THEY'RE THERE ON WEEKENDS IF HE'S NOT THERE. THE LAST TIME I DEALT WITH A WOMAN VET, AND THERE ARE TECHNICIANS THERE. THE PEOPLE WHO ANSWER THE PHONES ARE GOOD, AND IF YOU NEED SOMETHING DOUBLE CHECKED, THEY WILL GET A DOCTOR AND DOUBLE CHECK. THEY ARE VERY GOOD.
