These guys are the BEST. Professional, knowledgeable, On time, and thoughtful. Used them twice now, and the only guys I would use.

Adelmo was wonderful to work with! Crew was on time and efficient. They finished as promised by 3pm. There were also 2 additional trees further back in the yard that we did not take into account during the initial survey, so they were able to cut those on the spot as well. Did a great job of also cleaning up branches and limbs that fell in the neighbor's yard.

Absolutely superb! I've had them here on 3 occasions. They are fast, clean, very professional. The prices are better than their bigger competitors. The only downside is that Mr. Padilla is a bit hard to get in touch with. He dosen't sit in an office, he's out with the crew working. So call, leave a clear message and he will get back to you. One of the things that first made me use Mr Padilla was something that an independent competitor said. The competitor was unable to make his appointment with me. In the course of the conversation I mentioned that I had an estimate from Ralph Padilla. The competitor said I couldn't go wrong employing Mr. Padilla. At first I was not able to meet with Mr. Padilla due to my schedule. He came to the house, looked at the work that needed to be done and called in a very reasonable, detailed estimate. It was the quality of the initial work that made it easy for me to call Mr. Padilla on two subsequent occasions. All my dealings with his company have been entirely satisfactory.

Work was done in shorter time than expected. Even though trees hung over neighbor's yard, they were able to trim and clean up the debris without any problems. Originally hired to cut 2 trees and while on the premises we noticed a 3rd tree that needed to be cut. They were able to work on it immediately since they were there, rather than schedule another appointment and just made the adjustment in pricing, which was minimal. Very, very satisfied with their work and appreciated Adelmo's knowledge and expertise in this line of work.

Ralph Padilla showed up to evaluate the tree when he said, and we discussed how best to preserve the tree. When the day of the pruning came, Ralph went over the plan with his crew to make sure they knew to only cut the dead wood and the crew went to work in lousy weather with no complaints. When they were done, they'd taken the logs with them and even cleaned up old branches which had fallen long before the job. They even made the wild trees look neat!

Besides a scheduling mix up, all went very smoothly. Ralph and crew was very professional and personable. This 80 foot spruce had grown a foot away from my house, so at first I was nervous that they'd be damage to the house from the tree removal. Those fears disappeared once I saw the crew work. They're like a well oiled machine. They know exactly what they're doing, and needless to say, nothing was damaged. They also cleaned up after themselves. I've already recommended them to neighbors and friends.

Excellent, Quick and Fast

ralph padilla enjoys the reputation of  "the best", an "artist", "completely understands trees" -working with him was an incredible experience- he just totally got it and gave it-   if you can work with him, do.

It was a very complex situation because the trees overhang several properties. The neighbors were impressed because he removed the trees without doing any damage. He ground down the stumps after he cut down the trees. He did a phenomenal job.

This was the second time we hired Ralph to remove a tree from our property.  He is extremely dedicated to his craft and uses a very impressive team to get the job done in a timely and professional manner.  We were amazed with the skill of his workers as they safely removed the tree one section at a time in a very controlled and practiced manner.  The fact that the tree was close to our house made the care needed for the work that much more important, but everything went smoothly.  Clean up was great too.  All in all, an outstanding job.

Everything was completely done in a professional manner and I had no complaints. The price was decent and they picked up after themselves. It was a good experience all around.

He is an arborist and he is wonderful.  He is highly recommended and he does work for the Bronx Botanical Gardens.  The only downside is that sometimes you have to wait to get him because he is so good, but that is not a big deal.  He does tree pruning, cutting, replanting and anything to do with trees.  The rates are determined by the number of people in the crew that he comes to work with for the day.  His rates are less expensive compared to many others and he seems really fair.

All I can say is if you have any tree issues at all, Padilla Tree is the company you need! Run by Ralph, he's a certified arborist and really knows his stuff. Before doing the job, he did a thorough walk around the property, and helpfully noting what work might be done on certain trees and shrubs. The work itself was highly professional and Ralph and his crew make an excellent, efficient team. They were on-site all day (about 8 hours), did a great job, and with a reasonable cost. I would hire Ralph again in a heartbeat.
