It went very well. The crew, headed by Gustavo, and excellent foreman, was careful, considerate and good humored. They stayed until they were sure everything was properly in place in the new house. I wholeheartedly recommend them, particularly this crew.

I also got Abraham and his team did a top notch job moving us across town, ask for him for sure. Everything was cared for very well, and the guys, were on time, worked hard and moved fast. We paid the amount we were quoted, and the estimate for the amount of time was spot on.

Also, there were no hidden fees like having to pay for tape or generous lunch hour calculations. My expectations were met and actually exceeded.

Robert in the sales office was amazingly responsive and helpful with putting together a quote and setting up our move.  Not to diminish Robert,  but the real reason for this excellent review is the team of guys that moved us.  Sharone, Hector, John and Louie were so very friendly, professional and gave our belongings such care that it seemed as if they were  moving their own belongings.  Would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Miguel and crew were extremely hard working and diligent. It was a large job and doing it in one day took a lot of hard work and coordination. We had 7 movers, and all were very hard working, considerate and respectful. Would definitely use them again.

We were moving a small 2 bedroom apartment from Connecticut to NYC. Most of all moving boxes and the minimum of furniture (no sofa, dining set or appliances). They came on time, 4 guys, moved out a 3rd floor w/o elevator and moved in a 4th floor still w/o elevator. They went fast and didn't damage anything. We moved on a Sunday, just before superstorm Sandy hit the New York Area, but still, everything went fast and easy. We haven't paid any extra, the quote was just the amount of time we had needed. I am very pleased with their service and would recommend to a friend or call them again would we have to move.

It was the most horrifying experience I have ever endured. To begin with, the first question the crew leader (I don't remember his name) asked me was if I had enough money to leave him a "nice" tip!? And, that was only the beginning. While I was signing the contract in one room, the crew boxed up everything in the closet including the jacket I was wearing and my partner's shoes despite the fact that there was a room full of boxes ready to be brought out before the closet. Later, I figured out why they did this, and I will explain later in the review. In addition to this, they also managed to box up and move three boxes of our garbage and then CHARGED us extra for materials to do it. If petty money squeezing wasn?t enough, they also managed to break things: They chipped the glass top of my $3,000 Jensen Lewis desk and broke the leg of and ripped the upholstery of my Crate and barrel Sofa. When I pointed these things out to the Forman, he told me that He'd seen those nicks at my other apartment but neglected to point them out. Considering how worried I was about the desk and how many times I begged them to wrap it (which they didn't until it was in the truck) makes that story totally incredulous. The desk was in pristine condition. The sales person who originally scheduled my job told me that I would be receiving 5 free wardrobe boxes, and that the crew would come prepared to disassemble my bedroom set and put my mattress and my plasma TV in crates. So, we decided to hold off packing up these items until the day of the move. As mentioned earlier, once we the men arrived, they immediately began packing up the wardrobe boxes. And they had used more than the five boxes within 20 minutes and I was now using additional boxes that I had to pay extra for. It wasn't until we arrived at the new place and started unpacking that we realized the scam... they only put three coats in each of the boxes so that they could charge us for more bixes. Not only that, the crew didn?t have any mattress boxes or TV crates so they just wheeled them down to the truck barely covered. Finally, when they got to the bedroom set, the men didn?t even have an electric screw driver with them. Thank god my super helped me out. He made quick work of the bedroom set. I can't say enough bad things about my experience. They ruined my furniture and they weren?t even sorry about it If your going to call this company, please ready my review. They are aweful people who don't care who they hurt.

The worst possible experience ever! The crew leader (I think his name is David) was rude to myself as well as building employees at move-out location. They arrived ontime but took 7 hours to move everything into truck. Had trouble moving average furniture out of doors (normal size doors no problem with move in). Had to ask them to replace doors after they removed them with much cussing and swearing this was done. There was a building light that was broken by mover which he was asked to pay for. Crew leader screamed at building staff at top of lungs again with profanity. The crew could not fit our belongings into truck so they decided to wheel my leather couch and plasma tv down the street to new apartment (in rain). Rude and nasty but managed to change their tune when my husband showed up. HORRIBLE exprience. I was quoted $900.00 but charged $1500.00 when all was done.

They were very good. The movers themselves were good as well. Nothing was damaged or anything. They were very quick and professional.

After speaking with a very pleasant man to schedule the move, we were looking forward to a smooth move. However, the crew that arrived was careless and slow, and two of the four men did not actually do anything. Despite having nothing but boxes and furniture to move, it took them over 3 hours to load the truck. This delay is caused by them taking apart furniture unnecessarily and breaking it in the process.

After hearing horror stories from friends and colleagues regarding moving and moving companies in New York City, we were absolutely thrilled with this company and the job that they did. From the 1st phone call to the final box we were happily surprised with the job they did for us. Noah's Arc was not on your list, though I did contact 2 other companies that were, but was recommended by 2 different colleagues. We had 4 guys on the job. Solomon was the one we dealt with the most. They were on time, pleasant, helpful, courteous, and just plain nice. Nothing was damaged or broken. Moving can be so stressfully. These guys made it less so. I recommend this company and these guys 100%!
