Moving
I'm glad I had a fixed price. They promised that the day of the move they would start at 8 am and have the truck loaded by late morning and deliver to the new address by early afternoon. They did not leave the old address until 6 pm at night and didn't finish moving in to the new location until 1 am. Furthermore, during the move they damaged 11 pieces of furniture. When we attempted to settle our claim with them, they just stopped returning our calls. I eventually turned the matter over to my personal insurance company, who advised that they would pursue the settlement of the claim. The workmen had nothing nice to say about their employer and now I know why.
