This service was recommended by my previous carpet cleaner who was retiring. It was easy to make the appointment. Received a call to tell my they would be a half hour late prior to the appointment time, but the provider was over an hour and a half late (past the last hour of the estimated time). A very nice, professional two man crew cleaned the carpets in about an hour. While the carpet is mostly clean, I'm not particularly thrilled for the reasons that follow. Not everything was moved, pieces of furniture were cleaned under but had not been moved to clean under the feet as well. They did not replace all the items they picked up so I had to do it myself with my own aluminum foil. The most soiled area of the carpet (with one year's grime) did not really come all the way clean. Many areas at the edge of the room were not very damp at all and the join where the carpet meets the baseboard still shows soil. At the conclusion of the cleaning no paper was laid to walk on until the drying was completed. I was given crime-scene type booties, but of course, in order not to soil the wet carpets these must be put on and taken off each time a carpeted room is entered and/or exited. So, while the work was (barely) satisfactory (a "C") the service was a great deal less than I had previously. 2nd day: I have found that some of the pet stains did not come out, under at least one bed was not cleaned and a stain under a radiator was not lifted.
