I sent a message through Angi's about the project. The contractor didn't respond. After several days, I phoned, at which point he claimed he missed the message. I should have ended the call at that point. Against my better judgment and wanting to get the job done, I hired him and booked a date and time for him to come to do the work. On the day of the job, he failed to show up, and I ended up paying my elderly aunt's home health aide to sit there for several hours waiting for Luis to show up. The aide called Luis and he at first said he was running late at another job, and couldn't get there until between 6 and 7 pm, several hours later than the appointed time. She agreed to wait for him (at my expense), but when he didn't show, she called him again, and he said he wouldn't be able to get there that day at all. I don't expect contractors to be exact with appointments, but this was beyond ridiculous. I will NEVER use Angi's contractors again. They are not reliable.
