LIPPOLIS ELECTRIC

Never heard back from my request - went elsewhere.

Lippolis was hired by my painting contractor to check, repair, or replace an electrical outlet that broke during major work in my apartment. It took a while because of all the forms and insurances required as per our co-op rules. Colin from Lippolis arrived on time and was very professional. He explained everything clearly, and made other helpful suggestions for other work we would like to do in the future. 

The work that Lippolis did went well, however, two men showed up to do the job of one. I paid for the electrician to bring his apprentice for on-the -job training at my expense. As a result, the price quoted on the phone was $125 and when I received my bill I was charged $170 with no call to say the job needed two people. Surely, the job didn't need two people. I interfaced with the real electrician that performed the work. The apprentice was non-existent.
When I called and spoke with the rep regarding the discrepancy with the rate, she argued with me and said, and quot;the price is almost the same.and quot; Um, and quot;almost the same.and quot; Well, I would like to know who in this economy has extra dollars to just give away.
It's just good business practice when something is not right, the business corrects it. You should never argue with a customer, especially when the customer is right!!!

Installed timing swiches, which did not work. Damaged ceiling when fan was installed. Did not fix the damage

I was very pleased with the work completed by Lippolis. Mike McKenna, the service manager was very helpful when he came in to see the work that I wanted to be done. We went through everything in detail and Mike made suggestions along the way. Once the proposed contract was agreed to, he assigned a team to the job and setup a couple of days for the work to be done. The team came in and did the work in about 2 days time. They were on time, neat and professional. Overall, the experience was very good and I would use them again in the future.

They provided excellent and responsive service in connection with both projects. The house renovation was quite extensive and required major requiring of electrical systems, and installation of low voltage for ethernet, cable, telephone, controls for heating and cooling units, etc. Everything works perfectly. They were highly responsive to our requests and were really good about asking questions if they didn't understand, or if they thought that there was a better way of doing things. Some of the existing systems (like phone lines) didn't work well, and they remedied it. On the whole, we were very happy with the job and their workers. The second job was on a generator installation, where they performed the electrical wiring on the project, including low voltage wiring to the condensers. Excellent job, professionally done, and nice clean-up after the job.

While it took a while for them to call me back for an appointment, they were very professional, reasonably priced and completed the work very well. They seem to have very experienced professionals on staff.

The thing I'm annoyed about is that the light is only active within seven feet, so we got into an argument about it. They do good work, but they're expensive.

THEY SENT IN VERY YOUNG BOYS WHO WERE VERY SWEET AND NICE, BUT NOT ALL OF THEM WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I NEEDED TO HAVE A WORKER COME BACK TO REPAIR A FEW THINGS. IT TOOK A FEW PHONE CALLS FOR SOMEONE TO COME BACK AND CORRECT THE INSTALLATION OF THE OUTLETS.

THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT WHEN THEY CAME. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS COMPLETELY THEIR FAULT THAT WE HAD TO WAIT SEVERAL TIMES. IT MIGHT BE THE SIZE OF THE PROJECT. THERE WERE 150 FAMILIES IN MY BUILDING AND SOROUNDING ONES THAT HAD TO HAVE THIS DONE. I THINK IT WAS GOOD QUALITY WORK. THEY COULDN'T ALWAYS COME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO COME.

LIPPOLIS REWIRED SEVERAL OUTLETS THROUGHOUT MY HOME. THE WORKERS WERE VERY PUNCTUAL, AS WELL AS PROFESSIONAL. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED.

LIPPOLIS REWIRED MY ELECTRICAL OUTLETS IN MY HOME PRIOR TO ME MOVING IN. THE WORKERS WERE VERY PUNCTUAL, AS WELL AS PROFESSIONAL. THEY ALSO DID THE JOB WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME.
