Warning! Avoid Handicare Glass and Eddie! I hired Eddie from Handicare Glass in Feburary through Angi to replace a broken china glass panel. Big mistake. Red Flags from the Start: Missed appointment: We scheduled a measurement appointment, but Eddie didn't show up. We rescheduled, and he finally came. Unprofessional request: the week after Eddie visited he requested a $200 deposit via Zelle to order the glass. Broken Promises and Empty Excuses: After receiving the deposit on March 7th, 2024, communication became difficult. Eddie offered a constant stream of excuses for the delay: a dropped glass panel, a deceased shop owner, and more. Zero Transparency, Zero Refund: As of June 17th, 2024, the glass never arrived, and Eddie has refused to return the $200 deposit. He doesn't respond to calls or messages. Don't Make My Mistake: There are many reputable glass repair companies out there. Avoid Handicare Glass and Eddie - 917-770-0283 at all costs.
