After living for over a year with a roof leak due to an incompetent repair job, and after contacting many roofers via Angie's only to have calls unreturned and appointments blown off, I was recommended from another roofer to Ft. Cica.  The other roofer, honest guy (Carmine Fioccola from Tri-Boro Roofing) said he didn't have a scaffold license and it sounded like one would be needed for the repair.
Being winter, scheduling both inspection and repair was complicated by the weather, but Anthony is really a professional, and a good roofer.  He figured out in one visit what the other roofers couldn't in a year.  He identified sources of the leaks, documented it (sent me photos) came up with a plan, gave me a quote.  Managed to get the work done before the deep freeze set in.  Documented his work - sent me photos.  His crew cleaned up when they were done.
When they finished the work, there was a big rain, and the roof was still leaking.  So they came back, identified another possible leak source, and he called me, explained the situation, that there could be yet another source of leaks (other side of the shared wall of the brownstone).  I appreciated the honesty.  Fortunately, the second repair seems to have gotten all the problems, and several rain/snow/melt events (which would have caused floods inside before) and it was dry.  Finally!
If you have a tough roof leak problem, you should give these guys a call.

Fort Cica Roofing gave me an estimate. I called him back for a more detailed estimate to do the entire roof properly. His estimate for just the cover was 2000. He did give a 100 dollar senior discount. For the updated estimate he broke it down. 2000 for roof installation, 4400 to remove the roof, and then he added 950 for a new gutter. He was on time, professional. He went up on the roof. He took pictures. He stayed focused on the topic. I have not made a decision yet.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM BECAUSE THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY DID NOT COME ON TIME, HOWEVER, THEY DID GET THE JOB DONE ON SCHEDULE. I THINK THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE.
