They installed a hybrid water heater. All my questions were answered fully. It's been eight months since installation and I am completely satisfied.

Water pressure didn’t seem correct

Small leak on valve right after the water meter. replaced main shutoff valve and replace the drain valve. Use compression fitting. Emanuel quoted the job and started/finished the same day. Professional and punctual.

We first hired Emanuel in early December because of a leaking pipe under our kitchen sink. We called several plumbers, and he was the only plumber willing to come to our home to repair the leak on such short notice. Every other plumber could only come the next day. He was also one of the few plumbers who answered the phone the first time we called. Many of the others just let our call go to voicemail before calling us back several hours later. Emanuel did a great job with re-fitting the pipe under our kitchen sink. Our original pipe installation was flawed and kind of make-shift (something our home inspector had already warned us about). Emanuel quickly recognized the problem and expertly repaired the original installation in less than an hour. As fate would have it, a few days later our water heater started to leak. It was already more than ten years old, so we knew that it would give out at some point. At this time, it was already well into December in the Northeast, so this was kind of an emergency situation (no hot water => no showering). This was going to be a big-ticket repair so we again called a few plumbers in the area. Emanuel's quote was competitive, but what really won us over was the high-quality job he did with the kitchen pipe re-fitting a few days earlier. Emanuel came the next day with a partner and spent almost the entire day installing our water heater, adding new pipes and disposing of the old water heater. Again, the installation went smoothly, and we are once again able to take a hot shower and wash our hands in warm water. He was also very patient in explaining the mechanics of the water heater to us once it was installed, so that we could understand how it worked. Bottom line - Emanuel is a great plumber and I would not hesitate to hire him again.

3 times the repairman come to fix a simple thing, replacing a boiler relief valve. First time was diagnosis and to order part, next time he figured out he needed a pump in order to replace it, 3rd time he cancel the day of and come the next day to do 20 minutes of work that cost me $370. All the time he complain that he couldn’t remove the side of the boiler which I did for him and saying how hard the job would be so he could quote me high. He quoted me $250 to replace this part and I’m sure the part did not cost more than $20; it wasn’t even real copper. I feel strongly that I was ripped off by this company.

Within 5 minutes of submitting my request Emanuel called to offer his services. He listened patiently to my convoluted description of the problem (water dripping outside my home beneath the siding and water dripping from the ceiling in the basement bath). He asked all the right questions and ultimately arrived at an estimated price. I told him I had submitted RFQ's from a few other contractors and that I would get back to him as soon as possible. Only 2 other contractors responded and neither were acceptable (price, response time, etc.) so I called Emanuel back and offered him the job. I was told he could be at my home first thing the following morning and he arrived on time (rare for a contractor). The difficult search required him to open a wall or ceiling in 3 bathrooms, with each bath located one above the other. At each opening he took the time to make as small an opening as possible, thereby sparing me what could've been a huge drywall and tile repair job afterwards. As soon as we moved on to the next bath his partner cleaned and vacuumed the entire room. After much searching the leak was found. It had turned out to be the water supply connection to an aged dishwasher. The line was replaced and a new shutoff valve was also installed for safety. The entire job took over 6 hours and I was charged exactly what the agreed upon price quote had been. After all is said I certainly don't want another plumbing problem but if I ever have one, Emanuel is the only one to call.
