"The member failed to mention that we also painted her entire living room ceiling, which was the majority of the contract. In regard to the leak, she had tiles which were coming out in the shower. We fixed those tiles and sealed those gaps in the shower. We then proceeded to pour water throughout the shower to see if the problem had been resolved. She told us that same day that the ceiling was no longer leaking and in essence, we fixed the problem because the ceiling could no longer leak because of the shower, and our contract stated we were supposed to fix the leak caused by the shower, not leaks caused by other parts of the bathroom, because then we would need to do more work and charge more, which she was not willing to do. In fact, her and her brother were adamant the leak was coming from the shower due to the gaps in the shower tiles, which we fixed, however she failed to mention that as well. In regards to the grout coming out on the tiles, that is literally impossible due to the fact that once the grout and adhesive are place, the only way the tile could move is if people walk on them. We told them not to use that bathroom for 16-24 hours to give time for the tiles to become steady and not be moved out of place. However, I am certain that someone in that home did not heed caution because she called us immediately the next day saying the tiles and grout came out, yet the time elapsed had been less than 16-24 hours, meaning someone walked into the bathroom and stepped on the tiles. The member omitted a lot of information in her complaint, and I will take legal action against her if necessary for defamation and slander. This complaint is ludicrous and just another sign of a person bending the truth and taking advantage of small business owners. - Aftab Ali, President"
