I wanted to expand my closet by combining My his & hers closet + the guest room closet into one big closet in the master bedroom. I reached out to George at DKAI Contracting Inc. to inquire about this project. George was very knowledgeable about the project and understood exactly what I wanted. Him and his team went above and beyond. They were able to combined all three closets and seal off the wall on the other side of the guest room. It looks like there was never a door there! George and his team were very professional. George would come in often to assure that his team was on track; he would communicate effectively if there was an issue. They also came in a different day to install my closet system. Also, shout out to Marcos for his understanding and perfectionism! I love the way my closet looks. Now I have a huge closet, and it was fairly priced. I wholeheartedly recommend DKAI Contracting Inc. And I will definitely use their business for future projects.

Wow! George was the BEST! He laid out what everything was going to cost, why it was going to cost what it was, and had flexible plans on when to pay. He was always punctual, responsive and professional. All of the work was done by his guys (no day laborers) so there was accountability as well as peace of mind. George let you know what he was responsible for and what were the "to taste" items, things that we had to pick out for our own preference... like the cabinets, countertops, backsplash, appliances and floor tile type and color. It was a great experience and I will surely hire him again to finish my basement laundry room!

George and his crew were great. He is very responsive to your needs. He is always available just a phone call away. I never worked with a contractor that was so responsive. He and his crew very reliable and always on time. I would definitely hire again for more projects.

I was impressed with the attention to detail paid during the project by George and and his workers. George is a hands on manager who makes sure that each detail no matter how small is attended to. Once the tile was installed, George was not satisfied with one tile and had it broken, removed and replaced which set the project back a day. The delay was worth it. Additionally, great effort was made to match the new saddles to the tile and adjoining room, George traveled to multiple lumber suppliers with color samples to find the right saddle and the correct cut. Highly recommended.

The kitchen came out beautiful! George was within budget and within his estimated time frame. He has very nice people working for him.

George was very professional and explained each step that was going to take place in detail. He came to my house the very same day that I called him to look at what I needed done and give me a quote. I had a very short window of time as I wanted the work completed before I moved in the following week and he and his team were able to complete the work soon afterwards and completed it in two days. George then met with me and walked me through what had been done. He also had great ideas for future projects that I would like to do and was patient enough to answer all of my questions. I would hire George again.

My wife and I are working professionals and first time homeowners. We needed someone trustworthy and dependable to manage our project in our absence. It is an intimidating and stressful process to close on a home and then find out what work requires attention. When he's not making friends with my neighbors or answering his in-ear bluetooth device, he's texting, emailing or calling with updates when necessary. A contractor with integrity and a genuine good heart, he truly looks out for your best interests, even at his own expense. At the end of the day, we are relieved that we chose George to be our contractor. The relationship is now personal and we are forever grateful.

George is amazing! He is a perfectionist with a bounty of experience that helped shape our project. He is a straight-shooter and delivered on all levels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Will be using him in the future.

George and his team were fantastic. George was able to help us imagine the space in a way that gave us a much bigger deck and was able to get electricity up there in an easy and unobtrusive way that we hadn't even thought about. He also came in at a very reasonable price. He'll probably tell you that he isn't the cheapest you'll find, but that's not really what I want when I'm remodeling my home anyway. The deck came out beautifully and he finished quicker than we thought. We were planning to host a baby shower on a Saturday 6 days after construction started and were just going to have it inside, but George and his team finished the deck so we could use it for the party by Saturday morning. They finished up electric 3 days later. We could not be happier with how it all came out.

The work went perfectly and according to schedule. We were always kept informed of the process, step by step. We always knew what was going to be done on which day and who would be performing specific tasks. George Bergess and his crew were professional, polite and very pleasant and informative. Most of all, Mr. Bergess is more demanding of his work than his own clients. He would redo anything that he did not find up to his standards (unless we told him not to) at no additional cost. There were no surprises with the contract or the price. The work exceeded all of our expectations by far. Contacting Mr. Bergess and scheduling the work was easy and working with him was simply a pleasure. We had never had this experience with a contractor before.

George and his foreman, Marcos, provide high-quality and timely professional service. George is transparent, listens carefully and provides solid professional guidance His crew is punctual, respectful, hard-working, and highly skilled. The work is thorough, complete, and aesthetically pleasing. I wish I had met George years ago. It would have saved me years of painful home renovation experiences. It is a true pleasure working with George.

George was fast and professional, he had to do some very intricate plumbing in difficult spaces as well as replace and repipe the shower body. He installed sheet rock, tile, grout and caulk. He replaced and fixed the kitchen wall under the kitchen cabinet after repiping the kitchen. He installed a new counter top in the kitchen and did interior painting over all of the remodeled areas. In the past, George designed, built and installed a closet in a kitchen which improved the layout and functionality of our kitchen overall which included installing new cabinets and counter, kitchen sink and tile back splash..
