Basil had been at a high-end upholstery shop in my neighborhood, then he went out on his own. His prices and work are beyond compare. He has reupholstered two living room chairs and a couch for me, and his prices are about 60% to 70% lower than I was getting at shops in the area. He did the chairs in couple of weeks and the couch in about three weeks. He did not charge a pickup or delivery fee, and he kept me abreast of his progress when I asked. Basil even went to a trimming shop and got examples of bouillion fringe--at no charge to me. To get a new couch would've been at least $6,000; I paid less than $2,000 with the fabric itself and Basil's labor, so I saved at least $4,0000. I only wish I had more for him to cover.
