Description of Work: I had a violation on my garage and wanted to obtain a demolition permit. I needed to have a plumber document that there was not active water and gas lines in the garage. I called Mr. Catalano's office. Mr, Catalano responded immediately . He provided me with a letter stating that no water or gas lines existed . His price beat the competition by a mile!

+ -1 moreThis was a nightmare. The job was completed, however, Mr. Catalano and his assistant left a huge mess. Not only did they leave a mess, but they left a LIVE ELECTRICAL WIRE on the basement floor and NEVER notified us of this fact. They had to cut through one of the walls to get at the unit; in doing so, they removed an electrical outlet but did not secure the line or turn off the power/breaker. The exposed wire was left lying on the floor, for me to discover as I began to clean up the work area. I received a TERRIBLE ELECTRIC SHOCK, warranting medical attention. The electrician we hired to secure the wire could not believe that a "professional" had been so neglectful, and stated that I could have been killed. It is our opinion that Mr. Catalano did not take adequate responsibility for this nearly catastrophic event.
Description of Work: Mr. Catalano and his assistant replaced an old water heater / storage tank with a new gas-fired water heater. He removed the old tank and re-vented the unit.
