I have taken my 100 pound Newfie mix Sam to  several veterinarians in the area,  and he was always terrified.  He shook the entire visit and tried to hide under the chair in the examination room.  Our recent visit to The Broadway Animal Hospital was an entirely different experience.  Sam was calm and mellow during the entire visit, and I attribute this total reversal in attitude to Dr. Luckow and his assistant, Matt.  They are both terrific, professional, and devoted to animals which was reflected in my dog's demeanor. Their prices are in line or less expensive than other vets.

He & his staff are wonderful -- they are like family. They really care about the animals. They're interested in the families of the animals too.

We can see from the way Dr. Scott Luckow handles the animals how he understands them. He knows exactly how to handle them. He is obviously very feline savvy. He knows how to approach a cat. He is very affectionate with the animals. His manner with us is also exemplary. He is very friendly and explains everything that he is doing. He is very down to earth, warm and engaging kind of guy. It is just very pleasant dealing with him.

Our cat Stinky was seen by him and diganosed with bladder stones. We deceided to have the surgery after he returned from vacation. Stinky was operated on March 4, 2013, all the stones removed and he is doing fine. Thanks to Dr. Luckow

We go to them regularly. The staff is wonderful and loves dogs. The doctor is wonderful. He is caring and goes "gaga" over my dog. My dog loves to go there.

II made an appt to bring my cat for a checkup to Dr. Luckow after reading the great reviews on Angie's List. After visiting the place and meeting the vet, I must say I was very pleased. I was looking for a new vet to start taking my cats to create a history since they have records with the North Shore Animal League and it's quite a drive just for checkups, etc.Dr. Luckow was very attentive, professional and has excellent dr/client manners that left me very pleased to have brought my cat to him. He educated me on a number of things and I will be calling him to schedule a procedure on my cat in another week.His front desk staff are very nice though I do not like his vet tech (male) because he has terrible social skills and is not personable in the least. I can overlook that part as long as the vet who actually will be dealing with the pet is compassionate and receptive which, Dr. Luckow is. He told me a few great stories and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to him (my cat did not).I informed Dr. Luckow that I found him on Angie's List and he was very surprised and impressed and he asked if he could keep the printout I had about him, and asked me to give that information to his wife. He said he usually gets recommendations through Facebook and Yelp and has not heard about Angie's List (can you imagine?).I highly recommend Dr. Luckow for your pet's health needs and I find him to be reasonably priced and he WON'T sell you on anything your pet doesn't need as he did with mine and I was very grateful for that.

We had two stray kittens in our year that appeared to have a bad eye infection. They are not our cats, but my wife and I felt bad not getting them looked at by a vet as they appeared quite sick and unable to see. They were extremely understanding about our situation and never tired to force us to get unnecessary treatment for these cats. (Other vets we called insisted that we had to get the cats vaccinated before they would treat their eye infection. ) They gave us a few options, all considering that money was an issue, and gave us enough time alone to make a decision. They cared for these two strays just like they were someone's prized pet. I would go to Dr. Christ for all my pet needs.

I have been going to him with my pets for about 25 years now. He has had to put a couple of pets to sleep too. He is the kindest and most wonderful doctor there is. I would like to find a doctor for myself who is as good as he is. He takes phone calls every morning from 9:00 to 9:30 and in the afternoon from 3:00 to 3:30 like a pediatrician would do. When he examines my pets, they sit on his lap. I can even speak to him on the phone. He is an amazing person, and his prices are pretty reasonable and very fair. I would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future.

All of our experiences with Dr. Luckow were positive. He cared for our 5 cats, even sending in a donation to the Cornell Vet. school, when one died. AFter moving to NJ we brough our new puppy to him.

I have been using Dr. Luckow for my cats for at least twenty years. He is a wonderful Vet, very caring and personable. So kind and extremely thorough.When our Max had to be put to sleep,Dr. Luckow was so kind. He even called us that evening to see how we were doing. He also has calling hours every day just like a Pediatrician. I wish I could find a people doctor like him!!!!! He is our Dr. Doolittle!!!!!! Pets LOVE him!!!!!

He is totally compassionate. He is not the one who will create problems to charge you. He won’t do unnecessary procedure to get paid. Everybody there is good. He is empathetic and patient.

The service is great! They are professional and knowledgeable. The office staff is polite and friendly. He seems like he cares about my dog. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Luckow gently and thoroughly performed thorough physical exams, gave rabies shots, checked identifying microchips he had previously inserted, and filled required paperwork in preparation for USDA certification for travel to European Union countries; he has a knack for keeping the cats calm, and is very thorough in discussing all aspects of his exam and care for the animals.

Dr. Lucow over here is great. I like this bet because one time my one dog had a problem. They referred us elsewhere and I liked that. Rather than chancing something that they were not familiar with dealing with they referred me to another place and I was impressed with that. They are fabulous with my dog sand I have been using them for a very long time now. They are professional do reliable and I like that.

Dr. Scott Luckow of the Broadway Animal Hospital is very good. The people who work here are very pleasant and they get me in on time. The facility is very clean and doesn't smell bad. I'm totally happy with the service I get here and I highly recommend this clinic.

My vet is okay. I think he has a little bit of an ego to be quite honest. I wouldn't really not recommend but I don t know if I would recommend them either. I will continue to use them until or unless I find something better. I think they could lower the prices and give discounts to people like myself who bring multiple pets for multiple services.

BROADWAY ANIMAL HOSPITAL IS A WONDERFUL HOSPITAL. THEIR STAFF IS ALWAYS CARING, PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. MY PETS HAVE ALWAYS FELT COMFORTABLE IN THEIR CARE.
