I had a fence installed by this company, which held up pretty well. After 9 years I followed up with them to come by and repair it by replacing 3 sections and 4 wood posts. Unfortunately, they wanted to charge 50% more to repair than the original entire installation cost. I pointed out the extraordinary increase and Dean unfortunately made a mockery of the inquiry and really reflected poorly on the company's customer service. I understand business costs increase annually due to inflation and the city, however, it doesn't make sense for a repair to cost so much more than a new fence installation. Would've at least appreciated being treated with respect and fairness as a repeat customer coming back to you. I'm getting a second opinion on this matter.

Dean came to evaluate the scope of the project and returned with no issues when we had more questions. We moved forward with the project, and the team that came to work on our patio fence was very professional, friendly, and detailed. I would recommend them to friends and family.

The entire process went excellent. Dean was a pleasure to work with. There was nothing hidden, everything was upfront. he was honest and very helpful.  All my phone calls were returned quickly and he was very responsive to my needs. The quality of work was also excellent and exactly what he explained it would be. Very satisfied and can't recommend them enough.

My old fencing was rotted. I met with Steve Sjogren to discuss my fencing needs. He gave me the estimate and we went ahead with the job. The entire job went on as scheduled and his men were professional and did a good job. I did have to remind them to take away some of the leftover garbage, but overall, I was happy.
6 months later  sections of stockade are separating and popping off from the posts. They are nail-gunned in, not screwed in. I called Steve to ask him to look at the fencing because I have never experienced the fencing panels separate from the posts before. My old fencing was 20 years old. Steve came out to look at the problem and said I have a guarantee. He said he would send someone out to screw the paneled sections back on.
That is the last time I heard or saw anyone from the company. I went out with my deck screws and screwed in some of the ones that were separating at the time. It is now a bit more than a year later and more panels are separating.
I am sadly disappointed in the experience and the work.

Immediately after speaking, the supervisor, Dean, met me and measured out the entire project. The next day, he sent me an exact proposal, with all specifics, along with a Workmen's comp form and certificate of liability, as well as a photo of the exact type of fencing we discussed. I had 5 estimates for this job, and this was by far the most professional, as well as the lowest price. I would not hesitate in hiring this company again.

I initially contacted Dean after requesting an estimate from another fence company.  In the process, I thought I could save money by having a personal friend install them for us, but after realizing the equipment involved in going through the concrete, my husband and I decided it would be best to allow Dean to do the job.  The first company I did contact wasn't responsive, didn't leave me with any catalogs, I kept calling in order to get a quote.  If you want someone who is extremely responsive by phone and in an email, a company that will email you a proposal rather than give you a verbal amount over the phone or in person, and take the time out of their busy schedule to not only come out to your house once but twice to ensure that your measurements are correct and will work with you, then please work with Dean.  He is a man of his word.  When he says his crew is coming before 830am to start the job, they are prompt, efficient, and they cleaned up after their work.  I cannot stress how happy my husband and I are that we chose American and didn't settle for a Home Depot fence and materials. I highly recommend them and will definitely refer them to other friends and family.

Steve from American Secured fence was always punctual, always communicative via email and phone. His workers showed up one morning and completed the job before noon.
I was really pleased to have such an attentive salesperson for a relatively small job.

First, I have to mention that I have used American Secured Fencing last summer.  I needed to remove a broken wooden fence that was between me and my neighbor) and replace it with white vinyl fencing.  The person I have always worked with is Steve Sjogren.  Steve
is very patient and listened and made sure he understood what I  needed to have done.  Price-wise, he worked with me with regards to paying it off.  The workers were professional and worked very quickly and it was a clean job.  I was satisfied and knew I was going to use them this year.
This year in May, I called Steve again to continue the vinyl fencing across the back of the backyard and extend it along the side opposite of the side I did last year.   So the whole backyard is enclosed in the white vinyl.  Again, it was the same top notch service.  Steve is always
professional and friendly to work with. The job is thorough.  I was absolutely happy with how they did everything.  The cost of this was $2,600.   Then again, I called Steve.  I wanted to remove one side of the iron fencing that enclosed my front yard.  I wanted to relocate that section to the dividing line in the driveway that separates me and a neighbor. In addition, they installed set of iron double driveway gates.  The iron work job was $1,750.  While I was at work, a retired neighbor that lives across from me commented on  how they were working in the rain even.   She said that she would see the man that looked like he was in charge (that's Steve), coming by and looking and measuring.  After the iron job was done,  it was on a weekend that someone knocked on my door and he was from American. I thought he was coming to collect a payment...lol!   He said he was there for the fence and I found out Steve had sent someone because there were some rust and wanted it sprayed down and painted in those little spots he saw.   I don't know any other way to say it.  I am hiring them again to install vinyl gates this summer...I think that says it all. :) Ask for Steve!

They were on time and finished quickly and even did a quick little paint job.  So fair everything seems great.

Arrived when they said they would, got right to work, cleaned up when they were done. Left me with a beautiful new fence and a clean yard!

The crew arrived at the time they stated. They got to work removing the old fence/posts. They were courteous and respectful at all times. They stopped for a short time to take a short break but got back to  the job. The work went smoothly. Any  debris was removed to the dumpster.The new sections went up quickly  and were a perfect fit. The  finished job  was excellent. My wife and I were very happy with the completed product.

Seamless. No issues. The came when they said they would, delivered the product we ordered, the payment was what was estimated and they were punctual and polite.  The product itself has worn a bit more than I expected (the paint on the railing) - this would be my only comment.

The workers were very good. The Salesman talks the salesman talk but the company overall was very good. The salesman measured incorrectly for each job, so the workers had to scrounge to correct things, but it all worked out. I don't know if that happens all the time, or what, but it happened with my work. I guess that comes with the job, but  the company fixed things immediately and got the jobs done.   

 They did excellent work in spite of the fact that I was not home at the time of the installation.Also they are extremely courteous.
