Description of Work: For several years we stored our Air Conditioner with air wave - this past april when they reinstalled the air conditoner after winter storage - the maintence light was flashing - I had to have them take the a/c back to find out the problem since the a/c was in perfect working condition before storage - they returned the a/c claiming that the maintence light was just a glitch in the computer and it meant nothing - the a/c began not working correctly - would not cool the air at all even though we had it on the lowest setting - again we called air wave - the technican came over - told us again there was nothing wrong with the a/c - that we had the settings incorrect and that the maintence light meant nothing. Finally we called another company in the Bronx - they came and found the problem immediately - the compressor has not been steam cleaned (something we had paid Air Wave to do) that was why the maintence light was on. This company took the a/c back to the shop - steam cleaned it and since the maintence light has not been on and the a/c works perfectly. We will not use Air Wave again.

Description of Work: I needed to purchase two new air conditioners. Airwave sent two technicians to advise me at no charge, and the following week the air conditioners were installed. I was able to handle the transaction over the phone, and the cost of the two units included installation. I was very pleased with the company's responsiveness. The technicians were very conscious of building codes and very neat when removing my old air conditioners.

Description of Work: Air Wave takes my AC away every October, services it, and returns it every April. Cost is $300 annually. I bought my 14 BTU Fredericks unit from Air Wave plus annual maintenance of $86.01 after the first year. It might be pricey, but I never have AC emergencies like my neighbors all seem to. I'm happy.

When I reminded them that they just stored and fixed everything for the winter (they had forgotten) I was put on hold for a long time and then someone got on the phone and said it was a misunderstanding. I think they are a bunch of crooks - besides being rude and unprofessional. Beware.

Description of Work: THIS COMPANY TOOK OUT THE WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER AND TOOK IT TO THEIR PLACE OF BUSINESS TO FIX. THE AIR CONDITIONER SHORTED OUT SO THEY REPLACED SOME WIRES. WHEN THEY BROUGHT IT BACK, I HAD THEM PUT IN A STRONGER SUPPORT BAR ALSO.

Description of Work: THEY SERVICED TWO AIR CONDITIONING UNITS. THEY CLEANED THE MAIN UNITS AND REPLACED THE FILTERS ON EACH OF THEM.
