It was very good, they were very excellent, they listen to everything I wanted them to do. They make sure my air conditioning unit is working fine , they were very nice, cleaned up after themselves and always leave the areas very clean. They were very professional. The price was worth it for the quality of the work.

Classic bait and switch. They quoted a price to "steam clean" the ac which then got raised because it was an "above the window" unit, and then when they had it in the shop the price went up by hundreds of dollars. When it was returned it broke after one day and had to be taken out and fixed again.

Poorly. The price was first quoted at $89 for a "steam cleaning" which went to $139 when the workmen discovered that it was a through the wall unit above a window and then to over $400 after the unit was in the shop. When it was returned it worked for one day and then stopped. (Note that the unit worked when I first brought it in. It just leaked water.) So it had to be removed again and I waited several more days before it was returned. The next year the leak returned.

Very well. On time, professional, courteous, and took old air conditioning unit. Cleaned up, and other than having a new air conditioner you would not have known that they were in my apartment.

They don't have the accordion thing from the air conditioner to the window. They have a hard particle board that they fit it and cut it so that the air conditioners to the side of your window frame. This makes sure that nothing can get in. Not even an ant can get through. They caulk it and everything.

I have used them for 19 years. They do this every year. They really do some job. They put it back in and make sure it's working.

They stand behind whatever they do. If all of a sudden it's in and you hear a vibrating noise, you can call them up and they will come right out. There is no waiting; in a couple of days they will be right back. They are very pleasant. They keep everything clean. They put drop-clothes down so you don't have to worry about the water that comes from the air conditioner. They clean up after themselves which is really good. Sometimes they may have some deals that include 10% off.

I was the victim of a classic "bait and switch". I had bought this air conditioner from this firm so when it stopped working I called them. On the phone I was told that it sounded like I needed a "steam cleaning" and that it would cost $89. When I mentioned that the unit was a though the wall mounted above a window the price went up to $129. But I arranged for workmen to come in 2 days. I thought this was a job that was done in the house. But when the workmen came they told me that the unit had to be taken to the factory for at least a couple of days and that the actual cost was going to be $400! When I complained about the cost the workmen connected me by phone to the person I had spoken to originally in their office who denied the earlier cost figures he had given me and told me that my alternatives were to pay the $400 or to cancel the work order and just pay their basic service charge of $89. Since it was extremely hot I paid the $400 (plus tax) and they took the unit which they returned 3 days later. It worked for one night and then stopped again the next night . So I had to wait another 2 days for them to pick the unit up again and then another 2 days for them to return it. It has been working since then. But I have since discovered that from PC Richards for $529 (plus installation) I could have bought a totally new unit of the same brand to replace the one I repaired so I feel quite misused by this whole incident,

GREAT! Purchased this AC from them three years ago, and instead of using their storage service we put the AC on the floor of the apartment where it sat all winter. This company is not inexpensive, but they provide great service and support. They gave me good advice on which machine to buy for this space (turns out this one is no longer available and the installer today said {rather than trying to sell me something else}, and quot;never let this one go - they don't make machines like this anymore.and quot;). Yesterday, a Sunday after a holiday weekend, I called late in the day knowing I'd get an answering service but needing to get this AC back in the window asap with 90 degrees approaching, so I thought I'd leave a message. Within a few minutes I got a call back - on a SUNDAY - turns out they could get to my apartment the next day! Installed, as quoted. Nice guy. Showed up on time as promised. Advised that we store the machine for the winter -- only a few dollars more than the cost of today. Will do. It's the price to pay for good service, courteous, quick, well trained installers, and no surprises. I've dealt with them now over a few years. Support your local businesses. A little more money is worth it to keep them around. Thanks Air-wave.

I have been using them for five or six years now. They are extremely reliable. I have bought air conditioning units from them. They service them and then I have a yearly contract with them. They come out in 2 seconds, if it is 100 degrees outside and I have a problem, they make it a point to come out right away, I have never had to wait more than a day. They are pretty amazing. Other companies will not do that. I will continue to use them.

I have used Air-Wave for several years for cleaning and then storing our window air conditioners.
I had never had any significant problem with them until now.
Because one of our units had a broken part, I asked them if they could get it and then return with it
at a later date so that the unit could be installed. I had been in the habit of calling them the day prior to the
day of service to verify the details. Unfortunately, on the day prior to the day they were to return with
the part, the person that usually answers the phone and arranges all service calls was out.
Harold, who I believe is the 'general manager' answered the phone and was incredibly rude. I tried to explain
to him that I was calling to verify that the service men would have the correct part with them- they had brought
the wrong part prior to this. After being put on hold numerous times, he said that they were busy and he couldn't check the paperwork and abruptly hung up on me!!! I tried to call back but he yelled at me and hung up once again. I kept calling
and then another gentleman answered and put me on hold only to get Harold again, who continued to yell and
hang up on me!!!
I want to make it very clear that before this incident with this particular person, Harold, I had never had a negative
experience with this company. However, the way I was treated by this person was SO disturbing I told the installers
when they arrived that I was reluctant to ever use this company again. They told me that four customers had complained
about this person and similar scenarios from that same day!
I spoke to the owner of the company and voiced my feelings, however it has left a very bad feeling with me about this company,
especially when I know that the others that work there know how offensive this person Harold is to customers.
NO CUSTOMERS DESERVE TO BE YELLED AT AND HUNG UP ON MULTIPLE TIMES BY ANYONE, ESPECIALLY THAT
COMPANY'S GENERAL MANAGER!!!!!
While my experience with their service and other employees has be fine in the past, I now feel I do not know how I can continue to patronize a business with a manager who is beyond unprofessional and capable of such rude and disrespectful behavior.
A COMPANY THAT CAN ALLOW AN EMPLOYEE TO TREAT CUSTOMERS THIS WAY DOES NOT DESERVE THEIR BUSINESS!!!

I made an appointment over the phone for today. I was instructed to call at 830am to find out their arrival window. They arrived at 815. Kudos for promptness but I would have appreciated knowing first. Their technicians were helpful but since it involved $300 plus (minimum) to take the machine out of the window to repair the fan and cleaning at their shop, I opted to replace the unit from another source for an amount lower than that. I paid the $89 plus tax minimum service fee, they said it would apply to the purchase of a new unit if I opted to do so, I thanked them, then realized they didn't give me a receipt or any paperwork. I called Harold to see if my service fee would apply to them coming back to install two new units (not purchased through them), he said no and immediately began berating me for not buying the units through them. I told him it was a moot point since they were already purchased but I would like to use them in the future for installation if he could use a friendlier tone, then I was disconnected from the call (he presumably hung up on me). I called right back and got voice mail. D for customer service.

They showed up early, so I had to rush home from work to meet them. They got a stuck air conditioner out of the window in about 30 seconds. I tried for an hour the day before. They basically pull it out of it's sleeve, which I didn't even know was possible. They wrap it up nicely, bring it down stairs, and delivery it all cleaned up in the fall. You only have to pay 100 upfront too. It seems expensive but it's worth it since if you don't know what you are doing it is easy for the AC to fall out the window.

They were nice and reliable. They did good work. They have been around forever and they know what they are doing. They are an old line company. They are not cheap but they are not super expensive. I could probably find someone cheaper. It is fairly cheap if they just come in to replace the filter and check them onsite. They send out annual cards. Everybody there is really nice. I haven't compared their prices. I use them year after year.

I chose to purchase the unit from Air-Wave, because I wanted the unit professionally installed with t-bar (so I could open the window), plexiglass (instead of the plastic accordion thing), and support brackets. While the price of the unit was a little higher than I could have gotten it at a big box store, the price included delivery and installation. I had to pay a little extra to have them take away and dispose of my current unit. The company was extremely responsive and easy to work with. The installers were very professional, courteous, and quick. And the installation was great, quality work.

After old AC died, called AirWave with details of room size and power line available (220v 20amp, NEMA 6-20 plug). They recommended a unit and we scheduled the install. Installation was punctual, explained everything, took away old AC. Simple, quick, no drama. Well run business.

I called, they picked up the phone right away, they set up a delivery/installation date immediately for two days away, sold me top of the line Friedrich air conditioner, arrived in the window of time given me for the installation, with two guys who knew exactly what they were doing, and who put in the air conditioner flawlessly in half an hour. Couldn't have gone better. And they also offer storage with pick-up and redelivery/installation.
