Today 4 Star taught me something very important. If you give your credit card information to a vendor/service provider, they legally have the right to put through any charges they want. Literally anything up to your credit limit. There is nothing you can legally do. Your only recourse is civil action. Paraphrased...the onus is on the cardholder to prove that the vendor did not provide the services and goods claimed, or to acceptable standards. You’ll most probably get it back, but you lose a day, and it’s a pain etc. If they put through, hypothetically $267, odds are that it’s more expensive to litigate than write it off. Good business model. Odds are in their favour. I consider it a relatively affordable lesson in legal credit card abuse. It's an extremely expensive windshield replacement though.

This worked out fine. He was very professional. He also gave me a discount. The job was done right.

My window didnt go up or down and i thought my window shattered from inside of the door. I brought it to this place and they found out that my window regulator broke and my window was fine. I was happy it wasn't both. I brought it in, in the morning and the people that work here are so professional and really nice people. I waited for an hour for the job to be done and while waiting I was observing the employees in how well they treated every client on the phone, with such respect. They try to accommodate every single one of them and that's when I found out that they even will match or beat any other price. This is what you call a business, and not many like this in the Bronx.

4 Star Auto Glass are fast and efficient. They do the job and they are fine. They were informative and answered my questions.

Called 4 Star who set me up in a conference call with my insurer, determined that the cost of replacement was covered entirely, made appointment with 4 Star Bronx location, showed up on time, they weren't ready and had to wait some time before being serviced. Once the repair was made, it looked fine and they advised when to remove tape and not to have the car washed for a week. Only glitch was that some service personnel had called in sick and they were short-staffed that day.

The drivers side rear window came off of its track of our 2006 Highlander. We took a chance and stopped by 4 Star Auto Glass. What a wonderful choice we made. They were professinal and fast. The prices are very reasonable. While waiting for our car to be fixed another gentleman was getting his windsheild replaced. He told us, and quot;He looked around and this was the most reasonable priced place in the area.and quot; 4 Star on Bronx River Ave. gets a 4 Star from us. Easy to get to, right off the highway.
