Computer Repair
I cold-called Expert from the Yellow Pages. The representative I spoke with was very knowledgeable, his prices sounded reasonable, and he assured me the work could be done while I waited if I brought the unit in for repair. True to his word, a technician was assigned to work on my PC as soon as I arrived. I chatted with him as he did the work (he was very accommodating of all my questions) and my PC was ready to take home in about a half hour. While I was there I asked about a recommendation for a surge suppressor and battery backup (my power unit died when the power came back on after an outage). As it turned out, Expert is a reseller for Dell and Acer, and also has, on site, a supply of APC hardware. They even volunteered to install the software that automatically shuts down a PC in a power outage and also completed the on-line registration for me. They were very, very accommodating. I have found my PC service and repair shop and will recommend them to anyone.
