Pets a Go Go is a pet care in Westchester. We are an independently owned and operated company who does not sub-contract out or employ part-timers to service your needs 24/7/365. Pets a Go Go recently opened it's first fully green doggie day care, training, grooming and overnight facility in Briarcliff Manor. Pets a Go Go is the innovator of many services in our area including ridealongs, on and off leash hiking adventures and Mulligans & Mutts (tm) - a unique service tailored to our golfing clients. Pets a Go Go is truly one stop shopping for any and all pet care you need. I'd give them an A+++ if I could. My husband and I adopted a dog 7 months ago and arranged for a daily Monday - Friday dog walk the moment we brought him home. Bryan is our walker and I've had the opportunity to observe Bryan with our dog (Bowie) the 1 day of the week that I work from home. Boy, does Bowie love Bryan! Bowie, like most dogs, will be apprehensive if someone just walks into our house. But, not with Bryan. Bowie runs to him with tail wagging knowing full well he's about to have a good time on a nice walk. Bryan is professional, timely, very pleasant and a trooper with the best of attitudes (even when it's pouring rain and he's soaked, he's got a smile on his face). Bryan leaves us a note every day so we know how Bowie was and what he did so there's no mystery when we arrive home. I couldn't be happier to be in Bryan's territory. We've also sent Bowie for daycare and overnight care. I've visited the facility and noted what a clean and fun place the dogs have to be in. We've also taken advantage of the taxi service which really is, as PAGG's website says, the ultimate in convenience. Taxi service is timely and dependable. One if the best things about daycare and overnight care is when your dog is returned and you see how sated they are. Bowie is SO mellow for a day or more after returning. It's no wonder though as you know he's having so much fun running around and playing while staying on site with PAGG. Bowie is a German Shepherd mix so he doesn't require complicated cuts, etc.. but he sure does shed. The furminator treatment PAGG provides really does the trick and he always looks so good and smells great when we ask for him to be groomed while staying on site. PAGG really understands that our pets are our family. Nicole who owns PAGG is the most responsive and professional service provider I think I've ever had the opportunity to hire. And, being that the service is for our furry family member, the responsiveness and "can do/no problem" style really is priceless. Nicole runs a tight ship and you can feel confident that your pet is in the best of hands. I feel truly lucky to have access to PAGG. If you are considering becoming a client of PAGG, I can promise you that you won't be disappointed!

We had used the company for several years to cat sit. We had no problems, and the company seemed up to the challenge of any complications from a household of rescue cats, including semi-ferals. But after a troubling situation during the last visit, I felt I had to write this review. We recently hired them to feed the cats for one night. When I returned, there was only one empty cat food tin for four cats. When I realized at least two, maybe three, of the cats had not been fed I alerted Nicole. She contacted her employee and replied: "He went from the old instructions. You have both of our apologies and I cancelled out the billing as I previously stated. My apologies again." Nicole acted appropriately in apologizing and not billing. The reason I'm writing this review is that the company has an employee who, as explained by his employer, assumed instructions wouldn't change from the last visit 10 months ago. What if an animal was ill and needed meds since the last visit? More troubling, what doesn't make sense is that the instructions from the months-ago visit also indicated cats were in the basement, and they were fed down there; this time, because no one went into the basement, I'm not satisfied with the "old instructions" explanation. Nicole defended her employee and told me to find another pet sitter: "The employees are highly vetted and on long term bookings we rotate staff so things are cross checked with fresh eyes. That being said, i think it's best you replace since your confidence is clearly shaken. My apologies again," she wrote. Bottom line: they provided good service for years, until one employee disregarded written, emailed detailed instructions.

Their whole team does a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs. They're punctual, attentive, and friendly, even though our schedule is always changing. We are thrilled that we found them and recommend them highly.

"I'm sorry to hear you weren't thrilled with our service. We emailed all the dogs that stayed with JD & Casey (as is our policy after someone reports an issue) and thankfully, no one recalled an issue. Doing this more than 2 years later, of course, isn't ideal. I wish we had known earlier. That being said, we would have been happy to discuss the vet bill should it had been an infectious situation. Like human daycare, our 'little kids' sometimes have minor colds that go undetected during their stays even if we do examine them three to four times a day at shift change. We wish you the best of luck in finding the perfect environment for your sweet furbabies. -Nicole"
