"[Member name removed], I am sorry you were not satisfied with your experience. I do have to note that we returned to your home shortly after the installation to seal the air leaks which were also on your existing duct work. We made 3 visits in total to repair the air leaks to your satisfaction. The men did scratch the door and I apologize that it was not brought to your attention. I had a man there for almost an entire day sanding and to re-polyurethane the door. Unfortunately you felt the scratch was still unacceptable and you requested the door be replaced. It did take a long time for us to get the door and polyurethane it and install it and for that I apologize again. Now that all the loose ends are tied up I hope you are happy with the performance of the system and I hope you would consider using us again in the future."
I felt like I was 'taken'. And, after 2 days, the air conditioner was not working again.
A few days later the owner of the company called to sell me other parts and I explained my dissatisfaction with the bill. I explained that the technician told me it would be no more than 5 lbx, and he charged for 7 lbs and 2 hrs of labor and that the system was still not working with 2 days of the repair. He agreed to lower it to $590.xx and sent the same technician back to see what went wrong.
The technician came back, he looked at the outside condenser, then went up into my apartment to the thermostat, told me to leave the thermostat blower to the ON position. The system was still not working. He gave me a bill to sign and said there was No Charge for this visit. I signed the bill with NO dollar amounts. A week later, I received a 'copy' of the bill that I signed with $128.xx written into the page. Still NO A/C.
After arguing my case with this company, I ended up paying them the $590.xx for no air conditioner. They did not fix my A/C first time and did not honor there warranty to fix it within 30 days.
I have to say I was VERY DISATISFIED as I had NO air conditioning and it cost me $590.xx. I had to hire another company to come and fix the system.
I'm sure they will likely send a response to this email saying that they were not a fault. I disagree. If I pay you that kind of money, I should have a working A/C. My loss ...$590.xx!

Update 9/4/13: Received call from Tim in the beginning of August asking me to change my review on Angie's List even though he did not provide us with a quote for the work we received. I changed by grade to a and quot;Band quot; with the promise from Tim that we would receive the requested quote within the next day or so. No quote was ever received. Find another AC contractor to do the work. They don't seen too reliable.
