 + -1 moreThe work was extremely well done. Some difficulty getting them back to fix a few stones, but they did eventually follow through. Not cheap, but that seems to be the nature of masonry work in our area.

 + 0 moreAmbrosio Brothers is simply the best driveway contractor I have experienced. Over the past 33 years at this house I have used FIVE different contractors for the exact same driveway in the exact same steep slope and harsh weather conditions. The initial driveways lasted one to three years. Then I had the good fortune to find Ambrosio Brothers. They did the first one in 1988. In 1996 I had them put in a parking space and re-pave the driveway. Now, 16 years later, I had them do the work described above. Their price is CHEAP. Why? Because their work lasts so darn long. Let's take a look. I received several quotes last month, all around $3000. Divide that by 3 years and you get $1000 per year. Three years, at best, is what this driveway lasted under FOUR pevious contractors. Ambrosio Brothers quoted $6000. Now divide that by 16 years and you get $375 per year. This is not theory, it is an actual driveway story for the past 33 years and my experiences.Now, I have a beautiful driveway which will last me beyond the next decade. Rich Ambrosio is a true professional and his crew performs wonderfully. They leave the work site cleaner then when they arrived! They are on agreed schedule and work with no surprises. Folks, if you are looking for driveway work..this be the one.
Description of Work: Yesterday, they finished re-paving the driveway. Note that it has been 16 years since they did the last one! All it needed to look beautiful again, was a re-paving! They also enlarged my parking space at the bottom as well as constructed a water channel down the left side of the driveway, about 200 feet. Also they ripped up and completely re-did the areas in front of the entrance and garage so that the driveway would not be too high with the additional layer. Also, they constructed a water channel in front of the garage to divert water flow away from the garage. They blended the driveway entrance perfectly with the street.In addition, they raised the dirt level to blend with the edges of the pavement. Another interesting and important factor is that the equipment they use is like the ones you see on the highways. It is not just a guy walking around with a roller. I've been at that rodeo too.A perfect, concise and clean job WITH a 2 year written guarante.! The last one went 14 years beyond the guarantee!
