+ 0 moreIn 2019, I hired Melissa to create perennial bed for me. It turned out lovely and at the end of each day I paid her, but she procrastinated on giving me a receipt, which I never did get. Early this Spring I had her put 4:yards of mulch down. Again I paid her at the end of the job and gave her money, $140, for perennial flowers to be delivered and planted by the end of April. She told me she contacted the small nursery to put the plants on hold and several weeks later she told me the nursery sold the plants. Something didn’t sit right with me so I contacted yhe nursery and was told they don’t hold plants and don’t take deposits. With that said I never did receive the flowers I gave her money for. I then paid her two workers $350, half day rate, for weeding. They left after 2 hours and 15 minutes and I was never refunded the monies owed back to me. I had an attorney call her and she told him I would send the money by the 15th of the month, but I still haven’t received it. Her excuse to me was that since she now lives in CT it’s too far to do a small job. According to map quest, from her house to mine, it’s only 15 miles.

+ -1 moreAs outlined above, Melissa never showed. This does not make me think she is very responsible. This was a big job and worth the trouble of looking at.
Description of Work: Having researched landscapers on line with Angie's List, I called and spoke to Melissa Gorglione, the proprietor, who sounded quite nice. I described the work I needed done (quotes from other vendors are in the $6,000 range) and made an appt. for her to come see the work the following day. She never showed. I thought perhaps I had the wrong day to give her the benefit of the doubt, but almost a week has passed. No call. No show. I do not recommend this vendor.

+ -1 moreThings started off a little rocky in that the job turned out to be more massive than both the company and I envisioned as far as what it would take to make us satisfied, but it ended with us being thrilled beyond belief. There was so much work to do as far as clean up and prep and of course those unexpected things that are found when doing any home improvement project. The Tuscany team worked with us to make sure that we were happy with each step of the process, understood exactly what we wanted and worked hard to give us stellar results. Our neighbors have all commented on how beautiful everything looks and we are now working with Tuscany on our landscaping services so they can maintain what they've created. We are thrilled and will definitely use them again!
Description of Work: We hired Tuscany to revitalize our landscaping. Our plantings were overgrown and didn't have any real sense of design. We'd hired another company a few years ago but several of the plants didn't do well in the design they implemented and it looked pretty wild and uncared for. Tuscany did a full scale clean, removing stubs, weeding, cutting down saplings and limbs as well as installing new plantings in keeping with the style of home and our personal taste.
