The service was terrific, they are great. It's the second time i used them.

First day started out good, owner and foreman were on premises and workers were busy. That’s about the only thing positive. Foreman quit, no one showed up or called for numerous days. Ladders, scaffolding and tools were left on the ground. Guys took the shutters down and spray painted them on the grass so grass was blue. I called the owner and he told me that the job was finished - the whole north side of the house hadn’t been painted yet but over the phone he said it was painted and said he could show me the receipts for the paint. He finally showed up and my husband spoke to him so we got the north side painted. When the job was finally done and they left, the foreman who had walked off the job showed up in my driveway and sat in his car for half an hour - not sure what that was about but he finally got out of the car and I called to him from my window and asked him what he wanted, he asked me if my husband was at home. I told him no, and if he had any questions to contact his former boss. They replaced the front fascia around the door with raw wood so that now, five years later the wood is all rotted and the paint is buckled and peeling. So is all of the paint on the entire house - blue frisbee sized chips litter the yard. We now know (because we are having the house repainted) that properly preparing the wood before painting by sanding it to ensure the paint adheres to the wood is the first step after power washing. The people who are doing the job now are showing us exactly how the job should be done. They show up at 7am every day, all of them work a full day, they clean up before they leave and let us know they are leaving and say goodbye. The foreman gives us a timeline of the progress and keeps us informed. My advice to anyone researching this company is 1. Read the reviews and 2. Don’t pay in cash

DISASTER! 3 men arrived and did nothing for 2-1/2 hrs.waiting for owner. Would not take any work suggestions from me.. 1 man spent 6 hours “sanding porch floors” ending with unsanded floors covered with chipped and peeling paint patches all over floor. (Photos available).No sanding of porch steps. Floor appearance as if untouched for 100 years. Never changed sandpaper! Wrong type of circular sander rented.!. 2 men DISMANTLED good solid, wood trim and base boards on all 4 porch columns all sides where there was no rot. They disappeared the wood so I would not see the removed good wood even though it could’ve been put back. They left for viewing two 8” pieces of 1/2 round trim and one 16x8” rotted,bottom board. One man cut wood side supports for small stairs and did not know how to do it so wrong measurements. Cut wood pieces left on ground. No repairs, no sanded floors, no painted ceilings,no steps to little porch.Charge for 1 day $1958 minus $200 for $1758. Stupidly paid him $1600 for NOTHING rather than argue and told him not to return. Angry, I called Lakbak following Spring to come and do the work paid for. Too busy. We had serious Family health problems so Called again this year and was told I owed him $158. I told him I would leave a review on Angie’s list. My previous review of his work with a different crew was five stars. Photos from the end of one 8 hr. day 3 men are available for viewing. Frustrated homeowner with his damage to also be repaired!

All services were performed professionally and neatly. House looks great. A pleasure to deal with the owner and all his workers.

Sherpa did a great job. The pricing was reasonable and the quality was perfect. Sherpa came when they said they would and finished up by the promised time. I've used them twice now and I won't hesitate to call them the next time a need a paint job. (The first time I used them was to repaint our front stairs and deck.)

Came with two helpers. Crew was very efficient: power saw operator, measurements, runner (carpenter-helper), nailer, painter. Used good practices such as tar-paper backing. Put a prime coat on all the window frames (all around) eventhough the repair was primarily on the lower sills. Asked if we had the original paint around (which by a miracle of archeology I was able to find) and they put matching paint on the clapboards. Then cut all the demo and debris into small bits to pack in garbage that they hauled away with them.

Job includedd carpentry skills for which I will use them again and Additionally painted 2 interior doors and I would use them again on ANY interior painting:walls, ceilings, woodwork trim in oil or acrylic. Dropcloths always in place and removed at the end of a long work day. Promptly arrived at eight and worked until six.Quiet. Non-intrusive. o clapboards with same trim paint).The owner of the firm is beyond your dreams of what he should be. Thorough in discussing all aspects of job; consulted on color and choice of paint (I have not had good luck with B Moore exterior oil trim paint in terms of fading and badly peeling ) on an antique home with under-layers of old paint). Gladly accepted to work with the newest Sherwin William product-"Emerald" exterior trim paint on whole house (our choice to also do clapboards in same). Thoroughly honest and reasonably priced in 4 payments over course of the job. Contract and job description for home-owner. We have had a lot of workmen in thirty years of renovating 2 antique houses and I could not give them a higher 10********** recommendation!
