Super professional. They were in and out in 2 hours (and the ground was a little frozen).

PF Beal (Artesian Well Company) FIXED the shoddy work of a previous company, who installed cheap PVC piping connecting the new hole drilled into my foundation to the well tank. The pipefitting was overtightened and cracked under the water pressure after 2 weeks, flooding my house (FYI: this was the second flood related to the same job; the first flood was due to equally shoddy quality of the piping on the outside of the house by the original well company!).
PF Beal came in and repaired the cracked PVC, but after hearing our nightmare with the first company and how distressed we were about potential future flooding, asked us if we would like them to replace ALL the brand new indoor piping (about 5 feet) with a higher quality and sturdier pipe.This was not an upsell on their part...we actually asked them during our whinefest...what piping would you use in YOUR house? We then said, we want that...and he assured us, we will never have to worry about these pipes leaking again!
Money is only well spent if it's spent once! Next time, it will be spent with PF Beal. And at least now we have peace of mind...and dry floors.

I liked PF Beals responsiveness. HOWEVER, I was not pleased that were were charged $181.20 JUST for a service call...and when they said they would come over for the service, there was no mention of this cost (2 other companies charged us NOTHING for the same service)- we just received a bill weeks later telling us to pay. Because of this I would not use them in the future.

We needed to replace two shut off valves that are frozen up at our well tank and the plumber wanted P.F. Beal to come and review the piping as he questioned its integrity.  The folks at P.F. Beal were very pleasant and the technician was on time.  He reviewed the piping and stated it was fine.  He was on the property less than 10 minutes and did not ask to be paid (we assumed at this point that they were not charging anything since they installed the well pump and tank a few years ago).  Much to our surprise, we received a bill in the mail for $140, which turned out to be the standard service call amount.  We were never told that a simple 10 minute review would cost $140.  Now, I know that he had to drive here but we are only 5 miles from their office.  So, for a total time involvement of maybe 30 minutes, they charged $140!  We called and they were not willing to budge on the price.  I will have to find another well contractor if needed down the road.  If they simply would have informed us at the beginning, there wouldn't have been an issue.

I got a bill in the mail the very next day for $147.10. There was a $100 charge for a service call and $37 for the two filters that were left for me to try. I found the same filters on-line for $10.99 each as opposed to the $18.50 they were charging. I called to object to the amount of the bill, the fact that I wasn't given a time window for when someone was coming, and the fact that he was charging me much more for the filters than I could get elsewhere, especially since they were left "for me to try." By the way, since the problem with my water continued, my husband checked the new filter, and it was too large for my receptacle and had been forced in. When I spoke to Mr. Beal on the phone he told me that I wasn't making any sense and things pretty much downhill from there. My advice, don't use PF Beal for any well or plumbing services!

Mike and Mark came on time and performed the work in a very efficient and timely manner. They were professional and personable. They also explained each step that they were taking to correct the problem. I would highly recommend them.

THEY'RE VERY GOOD. WE HAVE USED THEM BEFORE BUT THIS WAS A FOLLOW-UP. ORIGINALLY THEY CAME BECAUSE WE HAVE RUST AND THEY PROVIDED A FILTRATION SYSTEM THAT'S MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. THEY SOLVED THE PROBLEM.

THE WORKER OF P F BEAL WAS WONDERFUL. I HAD A SLIGHT DELAY WITH THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND PF BEAL and SONS WERE ABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH IN DAYS OF MY PHONE CALL.
