Integrity Heating & Air Conditioning LLC

If I can give a zero to this company I would. They can be the last company in the world and I would rather buy a fan to keep cool than to have this company come into my home. The owner is an opportunist and integrity is far from what he has. For example I had an issue with a violation for an install which just had to be looked over to make sure it was operational and up to code. After calling 5 different companies I found one that was 3x less expensive than this company. Advice to consumers shop around before going with these guys.

April 22, 2020 All went well upstairs, downstairs and outside. Billy D. (Bill's son) was personable and professional as usual. It was suggested that the outside compressor be cleaned of accumulated pine needles, etc. and it was done at an additional cost above the maintenance contract of last year (since today was now a new contract and the old one was obsolete 5/31/19-5/31/20?). We signed a new 1 year contract for $499 for 2 units, Summer and Winter. This was our regular arrangement. In addition, with the lingering Corona Virus and our age consideration, we opted for two (2) Field Control, UV-16" air purifiers for each air handler, as suggested, at an additional cost of $425 /unit ($850 + Tax). We've been dealing with Bill Dean (and Integrity) since 2006, in 2 locales, and have found him (and now his son) prompt, professional, knowledgeable and $$ reasonable. He also replaced our aging units, at the present address, back in 2010 (?) to our satisfaction .

I had Integrity Heating install a Lennox Heat Pump and Air Handler. The compressor stopped working. I decided to call a repair company that is Lennox trained. The new company informed me the entire system was mismatched and was not communicating with each other because the incorrect air handler did not match with the compressor. The new company was shocked at how the unit was the unit was hooked up. They rewired the unit even though it was mismatched and got it working again. The new repair company told me that was done so the Integrity Heating could make more money by not matching the units. Bill is totally incompetent and has no idea of what he is ding. I had to junk my original heat pump because after spending $1000 on repairs he had no idea how to get my old unit to work.. Find another company who is more honest and know what they are doing.

In April 2015, we called Integrity to send a technician to see what can be done with the heating unit that had stop working. The technician (Bill) and a helper came and looked at the unit (declared it needs to be replaced since it is so old and not working at all and that the company that made this was no longer around for them to even try to get parts).  Prior to checking the heating unit, the tech also informed us that there is a $99.00 charge just for coming out to which we said we understand that. The Tech quoted a price that would be around $3,000 +.  However, when he gave us the receipt in the amount of $267.87 that was charged to the credit card, I immediately asked him wasn't it $99. for this call, he replied that the surplus charge will be deducted from cost of the heating installation.  I then explicitly told him that we were exploring Home Depot to do the work as they have 0% financing. I was not adverse to having Integrity do the job if they offered financing to which he replied that the company don't offere any financing plans. I  trusted Integrity since I have had prior experience with them when they replaced the heating unit in my main house over five years ago. I also thought perhaps this was their new practice. But it did raise a big ? in my head. I had a bad feeling that this was going to be an issue later on and I was proven right. 
In Sept, 2015, I called Integrity and spoke to Tina and told her that we have decided not to have Integrity do the job as I had secured 0% financing from Home Depot and that to please credit back the extra amount they had included in the receipt last April.  Tina then told me that yes, they do offer 0% financing and in fact she even help me obtain a $4,000. credit line from Synchrony Bank. I then told her that I will get back to her on since my partner wanted another company to do the work.
On October 20, I emailed Integrity asking them to credit back the excess charge as we have finally decided and engaged the other company to do the work. The email response I received from Integrity was  "I understand  and I am sorry to hear you will not be
using Integrity. As for the initial call charge $267.87 I am sorry that wouldn't be refunded, we provided the service ran the diagnostic as authorized."   SURPRISE!  
This is what actually happened as I informed Integrity in my email response to them.  When your guy came to the cottage, all he did was looked at the heater. In fact, he did not even know how to open it until we showed him, he had to pull the cover out.  All he did was looked at the unit, looked at the inside cover for the specs and then told us we need a new one since this one is not working at all.  No diagnostic test was done since the unit was not working at all.  Also, he did not take out any instrument or tool to run a diagnostic test.  All he did was looked at it with his eyes, opened the cover with his hands.  So what diagnostic test are you referring to?  In addition, when I asked him why the bill was so much when per my understanding, the service call was $99.- , he explicitly said that the service call was $99.-  and the rest would be applied against the cost of installing the heater if we have it done.
Now, if diagnostic testing means using the 5 senses  (sight, smell, hearing, touching - unfortunately nothing to taste) then I have no problem paying the extra $168.87 -  But really!   If this is not a bad business practice, then what's there to stop Integrity from pulling a fast one like this on other customers.  The other company we are using now to do the job does not charge any call fee.  What does this tell you about Integrity Heating?   You be the judge.

We had Integrity replace an A/C unit and the furnace. Throughout the whole day the crew was hard-working, clean and courteous. This was a big job and they put in the extra time to get in done in one day. There price was very competitive. We are very happy with the result.

It went very well. They were punctual and do a thorough job at a fair price.

They are not affiliated with oil companies so they don't have any outside special interests. All they do is heating and cooling repairs or maintenance so they keep their prices competitive.
