Back in April we visited the Brewster Home Depot to get a door. The first night there wasn't anyone there, the next scheduled night for the door people the guy was sick. After several visits we finally got to speak with the person who takes the door order.
Someone came out and measured and we returned to order our door. One person doing the orders, long long wait again. We picked out the door and ordered it and then didn't hear back. Finally we got a call back that their installer could not install the door we ordered, even thought it would fit our front entry.
So we returned. Long wait again. I had called ahead of time and the person at the desk said fine, I'll be there on Sat night and were were there around 8 PM. He was sitting there with someone with plans for an entire house. We we went to the front desk and complained and someone else came to help us. According the help there, they had fired their previous installer and had a new one. So they called the new guy. Eureka. He can install the original door we wanted. However he needed to check with the company on the lock.
He called back the following Monday to say no progress had been made. I was there on the following Thursday and I stopped by (desk was too backed up and busy for me to talk to anyone) and asked for an update call when they were free. None came.
I called this Saturday morning (Remember this is June 14 and we started this mid April) and after waiting for a someone to talk to for 8 minutes, I was put on hold, then I was told to wait for a door desk person, then I waited some more. then I got the door desk person. The person at the desk said he could not make sense of the notes and he was going to make a note to Paula, their expediter, but she won't even be in until onday (I don't think the fellow that took our order works anything but Thurs, Fri, Sat).
Can you say frustrated!
Hip Hip Hooray the door is installed (August, remember we started this in April) I'd have to give the actual contractor who installed it an "A". They are hired by home depot. I love the door and it looks great in. But the process to get it was way too long and hard.

The price was reasonable. They are easy. I just walked in and I rented it. There was nothing that special and they did their job. It was a huge tool. The equipment did the job well.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD FOR CARPETING AND FLOORING. THEY ARE NOT VERY GOOD FOR APPLIANCES. THEY HAVE A SERVICE CENTER THAT HAS TERRIBLE SERVICE. THEY GAVE US 6 MONTHS WITHOUT INTEREST AND NO PAYMENTS FOR 6 MONTHS.
