My service disconnect was struck by lighting by i called carlos and he called back in few minutes and showed up at 1130pm to look at the job told me what had to be done And was back the next morning at 8am. I had power restored by 1000am.Carlos was very professional and punctual and did a nice neat job.i would call him again in a heart beat if i ever have another emergency or needed any other electrical work.thanks again carlos.

We hired Echo after some of our power was out due to rodent damage. There is a lot of old DIY wiring in our house from a previous owner that isn't intuitive as to how it is laid out; an electrician from another company had spent 2 days trying, and couldn't complete the job. Carlos from Echo had checked our electric when we bought our house, and we should have made that our first call. We needed to get our service replaced, in addition to the electrical work. Outside of delays from NYSEG re: replacing the service, Echo was quick to get the job done, including the wiring that had confused the other electrician. Work went fast, and the end results were absolutely satisfactory. My wife is a property manager in NYC, and works with contractors every day - she was very happy and impressed with Echo's service, pricing and professionalism. I'm certain if we have any electrical work to be done in the future we won't make the mistake of calling anyone else!

The recessed lighting ("cans") installed in my childrens' rooms make a loud humming noise.  The recessed lights were provided by Carlos (which I found out later are really cheap and probably bought in bulk), and the dimmers as well.  The lights made a really annoying and pretty loud humming/buzzing sound.  When I asked him about this, he replied, "I don't hear anything". Funny, since everyone else I showed this problem to, heard it immediately.
The installation of the mounted big-screen television was really sloppy.  Wires were hanging out down past the bottom of the television and just thrown in a jumble behind the tv....very sloppy work.  The worst part was the sound bar.  Neither Carlos, nor his brother-in-law (who works with him) could figure out to hook it up with the cables provided.
So after returning home from work, I returned to find a messy situation (despite the fact that they were given ALL DAY to complete the job).  What made matters worse, is that Carlos was extremely defensive, arrogant and borderline unprofessional.  His customer service was nonexistent! 
I ended up having to get another electrician to fix his work!

I would highly recommend Carlos DaEira because of his excellent and highly professsional service. I called Echo Electric because of a faulty wiring in the residence I recently purchased. Carlos diagnosed and fixed the problem, but also took the extra time to check all other connections and to explain fire hazards, electric town codes etc. On top of that, Carlos is an extremely nice and caring individual. He accomodated my work schedule, and his prices are extremely reasonable. I had no doubt that the work was performed to the highest standards. Thank you Carlos.
