it went great. I highly recommend them. they are extremely professional/friendly and very reliable.

Moving from one small apartment to another small apartment 100 yards away in the Penn South Housing Complex. They were the only movers out of 10 contacted that would do an onsite bid. The two man crew was prompt, professional and efficient.
One sour note: the decision to move my flat screen TV via hand truck (wrapped in a blanket) was a mistake, it didn't survive the bumps and jolts of the pavement and was DOA when I attempted to turn it on. Fortunately, I paid for their insurance, and I'll update on how that goes.
Otherwise, I would recommend them very highly.

They're very professional.  My experience was excellent.

They did great job!  Very professional. Showed up on time and worked hard. My father in law who is the biggest complainer I have met in my life was present while they were moving our items, even he was happy with them.

Excellent service and price.  The crew was prompt, careful with the belongings and professional.  All were hardworking and finished the job in 5 hours.  The price and time was significantly less than what was quoted by others.  Highly recommend them.

Would highly recommend this company. Movers were professional, dealt with a huge amount of exterior stairs, and were thoughtful with furniture, walls, etc.  And they finished in less time than quoted. Even better, this company is part of a fantastic organization - The Delancey Street Foundation. 

The moving crew was extremely professional and worked quickly and efficiently.  I've used other moving companies in the past and by far Delancey Street outperformed those other companies on all aspects of the job.  They showed up on time, they moved fast, but took care to protect my furniture as they moved it out of my old home and into the new one.  They had five guys on the crew and each one worked hard, they took a quick 20 minute lunch break, but outside of that were working hard the entire time.  The price quote they gave me was very conservative and they ended up coming in under the initially quoted prices.  Overall a very positive experience and a great value. I would certainly use them again.

This was our eighth corporate move.  I wish the first seven had been as carefree a process as this one.  For much less money than other moves, this group carefully packaged our household goods, speedily moved them to our new home, and unpacked them just as we wished.  There was no damage of any note, the first time we were so blessed.  The attitude of the packers and movers was cheerful and positive, they performed with diligence and professionalism - there is simply nothing more I could have expect from them.  They deliver - in every way!  This group gets my highest recommendation.

The company was professional prompt and courteous right from the start. They answered my call immediately and gave me an approximate estimate right over the phone (work was performed at an hourly rate) and were spot on with their estimate. I even called a few weeks later  to move the date and they were very accommodating. Sent three men to perform the work who were all professional and polite. Thoroughly wrapped and padded everything necessary. All of the contents made it to my new home in their entirety and their previous condition; Nothing lost or damaged. I would definitely recommend and use this company again myself in the future.

I used Delancey Movers twice- once to move me from a coop to a home and once to move all of my furniture while I had my hardwood floors done. The movers were courteous, respectful, and extremely professional. There was not a scratch on any piece of furniture and they went above and beyond. They used their experience to help my husband and I through what could have been a very confusing process.
The company does not advertise - they use word of mouth as their main source of leads. They do not accept TIPS! I have recommended them twice and both times, they did an awesome job. Google them to learn about their unique company.
I was extremely impressed and cannot be more enthusiastic in my recommendation!

They were excellent.  They were very efficient.  They came in under budget.  They were much faster than they thought they would be.  There were no damages.

They were amazing. They were totally professional, the rates were reasonable, and they treated all my husband's things like it was their own. These are the reasons we are going to use them again. As well, the office followed up with us to make sure the workers they sent were doing well and helping us with whatever we needed.
