General Remodeling
I've had a very bad experience with this company. They worked for about a month, then took about 3 weeks off. When they returned, they demanded more money before they would continue the work. He is requesting that I take a look at his bills before he will finish the work. They literally have about one days worth of work left. Thats where we are now. Now how we got here is even worse.
The original quote I got was for $16,000 plus materials. Labor was never mentioned. Up to this date I have paid approximately $83,000! I don't have a complaint about the work here. I have a complaint about the dishonesty and lack of respect for the contract we agreed on. It is despicable that I have grossly overpaid and they are still unwilling to finish the work. It isn't my job to worry about how much your labor cost is. At this point my original quote is almost 5 times more than what we originally agreed on.
