Major Home Repairs (General Contractor)
Angie recommended this provider to me. I hired him to remodel my bathroom. Since he was recommended and had 5 stars. I needed other repairs done, therefore, I hired him for those other repairs as well. The original job was supposed to be done in two weeks. It didn't happen. There were a lot of excuses that followed, such as, he had to fire people, his daughter had cancer, he's getting a divorce. And he started to send one or two workers to work on my property. When I called him on it, there'll be more excuses and he'll continue to send one or two people that would take all day to do one task. Until one day, he stop answering his phone. Soon after, his son came to my home explaining his father was on his way to work, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arrested him. He is currently in detention. He doesn't know much about his father's business and have access to his bank accounts. But, he'll talk to his mother and found out information to complete his father's work at my houses. I sent him the contracts. I told him that I already paid his father for the work and the orders. I sent him proof. The son was responsive at first. Then, he stop responding to my call and text messages. I was looking into the provider's insurance to complete the work. Instead, I found him. It was all a lie. The provider was never arrested or detained. Another contractor saw him working at another job. He took my money and went on with his life. I still have a leak. I have holes in my ceilings. I have no railings on my property because he removed the old one and he didn't use the money I gave him to replace it. I have a dumpster in front of my house attracting bugs. The provider didn't pay to remove the dumpster. He left it on my property. The company refused to remove the dumpster after repeatedly contacting them. Because they can't find the provider to pay the bill, they're trying to leverage me to pay them. However, I already pay the contractor for that service. He took down my fence when he pretended that he was working on my yard. Now, my fence are on the dirt floor. I gave the provider money to buy pavers for my yard that was never purchased. I have two holes on the side of my house where egress windows should have been. My deck was removed and have not been replaced. The provider was too dug a hole and put a drainage, so water wouldnÂ’t go in the basement when it rains. He didnÂ’t do it. I paid him for a ramp. He didnÂ’t do it. He didnÂ’t do most of the work. I paid him to purchase a refrigerator. He didnÂ’t purchase it. I paid him to spilt a meter. He didnÂ’t do it. He never filed the application with Con Edison. He was paid to purchase a railing, an awning, and a door for my property. He install the railing and the awning. Then removed the railing. In the process of removing the railing, he damaged the awning. Now, the property has no railing and a damaged awning. I paid him to purchase a new front door. He didnÂ’t do it. They damaged my expensive LED mirror ($1000) in my bathroom. They stole my daughter's DSR camera ($1000). Furthermore, when they install the kitchen which is not completed, they damaged the vent in the basement that was hazardous to everyone in the house including children. I want my $120,159 return to me.

Alban and his crew did a great job on a tricky project. I have a 160 year old townhouse and they replaced, leveled and skim coated a popcorn ceiling. Great workmanship and left a very clean room
