VANDERBILT QUALITY FENCE CO

This is one of four companies I contacted for an estimate via Angie’s List.  

Joe came to the house and gave me a complete written estimate along with some ideas.  After getting 3 other estimates, I decided to go with Vanderbilt because I liked the fact that they did not subcontract their work & I thought the price was fair given the work being done.  

A crew and their supervisor (Will) arrived at exactly 8 am and began work removing the old fence.  Will went over the work order and told me that he was going to go to another job but would be back.  He left another supervisor at my site.  

The work proceeded and the crew was very methodical, professional and pleasant to work with.  They were very responsive to my requests and handled the minor hidden surprises that came up with a "no problem - I'll fix it" attitude.  They completed the work in one morning and cleaned up after themselves.  Will came by to make sure everything was done correctly & that I was satisfied with the project.

They did that. I called to make sure that they used the same fence supplier. This fence was being matched up with the old fence and they told me that they still used the same supplier. They did a good job the first time. Once they said that they used the same supplier they could matched the fence and everything was identical. I said fine and come on over. They were very good. They were courteous and prompt. They showed up and they did an excellent job. If I needed another fence I wouldn't hesitate to call Vanderbilt Quality Fence Co. When I put the original fence in 2004, I only had one other estimate. They were in the ballpark. The price was probably fair. They were topnotch. I called them and they came for an estimate the very next day. I actually delayed the fence because I wanted the heating and air conditioning unit in before they came back to make sure where it was located. Once I called and told that the air conditioner was in they were here within 2 or 3 days. They were excellent.

They came, they were here a few hours, did the work. We were happy with the job that they did. They were on time, polite and professional.

Scott arrived on time to give us an estimate. He was both very knowledgeable, and personable. The price he gave us was a little less than our other estimates, and that, coupled with the "A" ratings from Angie's List, helped us decide to go with his company. The time estimate was 3-4 weeks, with advance notice for us to remove the old fence. They called after 1 week to say they could come the next day, and my husband wasn't sure he'd have the fence down, so they said that they'd remove it with no extra charge. (He did get it taken down, though.) They showed up on time, and were VERY careful not to damage the plantings that were on either side of the fence. Although we were concerned about the slight slope of our property, they installed the fence without needing to "step" the panels and it looks great! When they left, you'd never know that they'd been here, except for our beautiful new fence. We are definitely pleased with both the quality of the fence and workmanship of the installers.

SCOTT CAME WITH TWO WORKERS ON THE DAY AND TIME I WAS TOLD HE WOULD BE COMING. HE EXPLAINED TO THEM ALL THAT WAS TO BE DONE. THE FENCE WAS PUT UP IN A FEW HOURS, NEAT, STRAIGHT AND STURDY,WITH THE EXTRAS THAT I ASKED FOR. WORK AREA WAS CLEANED BEFORE WORKERS LEFT. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I ALSO RECEIVED A THANK YOU NOTE, SHOWING THEIR APPRECIATION.
