Paint pros

Do not hire this man under any circumstances. He charged us for Benjamin Moore Natura paint and then proceeded to mix old Home Depot paint together to look like what we requested AND PAID FOR. Two of his workers confirmed this and said he does it all the time. To add insult to injury, he can't paint. The trim work was either missed or done so poorly you wish it was also missed... there is paint splatter all over the floor, different colors used in different rooms, closets not done, skylights not done... I could go on and on. We asked him to replace the light switches and our wiring was loose or incorrectly replaced.... a switch actually caught fire and we were forced to hire a real electrician who was horrified and called him and "idiot of the highest order." We were also told by a worker that he overbuys at Home Depot and then returns the extra materials for profit. He literally threw his cigarettes in our yard, rather than put them in the trashcan or in his own car - which is ironically spotless. When we told him to stop doing this, he continued and simply had his worker pick them up for him. He has, to this day, refused to give us the receipt for the purchase of paint, but we took several pieces of wall to his supplier and they said it was virtually impossible that the paint used was what we requested (Benjamin Moore White Heron). It was a mixture of several paints, as suspected, and reported by his workers. His work is so bad, you are actually happy when something is just acceptable (and that's a rarity). If you want sub-par work at well above par prices, Joe Ferreiro is your guy. If you want something resembling a profession, run in the other direction. Joe is not that, nor is he an actual company. He is the so called pro and he hires day laborers to do the harder work, and treats them as you would expect. He literally said to me, if you want to pay less, go hire a Mexican. Joe, I sincerely wish I would have. You should not be painting and you certainly shouldn't be interacting with humans. And ps, if you try to hustle your way out of this review, start by showing Angie's List the receipt for our purchase. We would love to see you prove your purchased Benjamin Moore White Heron - Natura. We've spoken to Aboff's and we know you're not getting the receipt from them : ). We can then move on to the pictures of your work, our light swtiches, our decking, and your own worker's statements. See you in court.
