He was great! This was the only dealing I had with Nassau Suffolk Lumber. It wasn't much at all ($150) and it was cheaper than buying a new window. He was very professional and told me he does that kind of work all the time. It took him half an hour to do it. He was a very nice man.

They are very good. They were reliable. They did what they said they were going to do, and I was pleased with the outcome.

I'm very happy with them because they did a good work and they gave me a reasonable price. I've used them before and I'm going to use them again. They are thorough, clean and I don't have any complaints. They were professional and courteous.

They have their own showroom.  The sales person was very, very good, cordial, informative.  She has a good background.  Took us through every phase of it.  Gave us a lot of advise and was very patient with us because we were making a lot of changes along and that's why it took a while.  And she was very prompt in getting the orders and delivery to us.  And again even though we incurred a couple of little details in construction of the cabinets from the manufacturer, which is called Wellborn, she was the one who actually made sure we were satisfied and anything that needed replacement is on order.

He was really great, I was pleased with the work.

It should be noted that I originally tried to contact the company "Active Door and Window" (ADand W) about getting our garage door replaced. When I called the ADand W number, Bob Jr. answered, and informed me that ADand W had been "absorbed" by Nassau Suffolk Lumber. Bob Jr. was very accommodating, and agreed to come to our home himself to give us an estimate on his way into work the next day. We eventually decided to go with them since they were a local company with the best price. We made an appointment for a 9AM - 11AM time slot, and the two servicemen arrived punctually at 9AM. The servicemen were very friendly and went over use and maintenance of the door after they had finished the installation. They even informed us of a shortcut the builder of our home took and how it affected installation of the door - they had to caulk the weatherstripping at the top instead of nailing it in, since there is apparently no header board on our garage. The door has been working smoothly so far, and we appreciate how much tighter it is -- there is not as much light leaking in from the outside into the garage around the edges of the new door as we had with the old door. This will hopefully be helpful in the winter.

Overall, we're pleased with the installation and would recommend this vendor.

I was surprised as we went there for countertops and we were not aware that they had cabinets. The layout that they had on display was very good. They were prompt, responsive and professional. The determining factor was innovation and price. They were the looser in the cabinet competition as the winning company had an innovative approach which was a little different and they provided a little more product for the price. I would have gone with Nassau Suffolk if it weren’t for innovation and they were good enough to be very close to the winner.
