Jen Air Inc

I have used Jen Air Inc. multiple times through the years, and have always been extremely satisfied with their work. After 22 years, my first floor AC units finally broke down. I called Jen Air, and since they have serviced the unit previously, knew exactly what I needed. Although it took a few days for the equipment to come in, as soon as it was available, Jen Air expeditiously took care of everything. They (3 men: including Will & Danny) arrived at 8:30am. As always, they were pleasant and quick to start the task at hand. They placed down drop cloths for the interior work. All work was completed in about 4.5 hours. Cleanup? You couldn't tell anyone did any work in my house/outside. They left everything immaculate. Mary (from the office) called later that day to see how everything went, and to let me know that she was submitting the paperwork to PSEG for my $800 rebate. (the price I've listed in this review is BEFORE the rebate).

My original review was probably higher than what I think of them now. The price was still covered under warrantee. Everything has been satisfactory so far. I had to readjust it multiple times and it wasn't one visit, it was multiple visits to correct the one issue. At first they changed out one part and there was another part. It was an inconvenience for me, because I had to take clothes out of the closet and put clothes back in the closet. It took three visits to correct the issue. The pricing was pretty expensive, because I went to Lowes and it was like a contractor through Lowes. They are familiar with the unit and it is a state of the art unit, so I think I would use them again. I wouldn't really trust someone else to understand what's going on with the unit.

My overall experience was good. There were no inconveniences; it was good.

Todd was professional and knowledgeable.  He explained to me how he would reconfigure the new high efficiency furnace/ac system.  After his visit I was in phone/email contact with him asking for more information.  He gave me a quote for the highest efficieny furnace and the next highest efficiency model.  When I asked for a recommendation, he said the next highest efficiency model would work for my home, that there's no need to spend the extra expense for the highest efficiency model.  After I gathered more information and research, I decided to hold off the replacement.  I cannot give a rating of the installation but my experience with Jen-Air has been very good.
