Fantastic and thorough job done. Mentioned some fixes that I could do but gave me multiple alternatives that we can consider. Very impressed, would recommend to any friends or family. Thanks!

Went well. Except for them leaving ashes in a garage can. Which was hard to get to the garbage man.

Wonderful. Had the cleaning at a discounted amount from a promotion Asked about the flu damper because I was aware it wasn’t working properly. Discussed my options and agreed to the service. Price was within reason and time for having all done was less than anticipated. I was given instruction on how to adjust the tension if needed. There was no mess - no odor All done very professionally. Don’t recall specific date but late January 2020.

Never again. The chimney liner was never properly installed, which I discovered when I had my boiler replaced. When I asked them to fix it, they were going to charge me for it. WHy do I have to pay to fix poor workmanship? I saw their liner once it was replaced and it was covered with soot because it was not connected to the boiler burner. I also hired them to repoint my chimney. They did a sloppy job and left globs of cement on the chimney. Hiring them was a waste of my money.

We had a technician come to our house on 3/17. He said the remote box was melted. He replaced the box and the remote starter. It started but I said I would leave it on and call him on his cell, which he gave me if it turned off. It turned off and I called him. He wouldn't come back and agreed to come back on Monday at 9 AM. Later my husband called him (HIS NAME IS MIKE) to reschedule for 8 AM. He screamed at my husband and hung up on him. He called a left a message that he would be here at 8 Monday. By 9, he didn't show up. My husband called him and he wouldn't talk to him. Our friend called him and he said to our friend: **** you! stop calling me!. We called the owner and was really, really angry. We wanted our money back and Mike fired. Owner said he would and said he would bring our money on Friday. My husband said don't sent that SOB Mike. On Friday, Sean came and gave us a check and Mike was in the van and started yelling at my husband again. He called me a ****-*****! My husband called the owner again and said 'I thought you were firing him' and the owner said he needed to find a replacement. The bottom line is: DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY IF THEY SEND THIS MIKE PERSON. HE IS A ******* SOB.

When his crew showed up, they immediately said the cap could not be fixed, and needed to be replaced. They ALSO said that the chimney flue lining "bricks" had moved off-center to each other, and were now "stair-stepped", which could lead to bad problems. AND, they said that the chimney on my oil-heater was installed wrong, and that THAT company should even be sued, and possibly arrested. But, for the low CASH price of nearly $3,000, they would put lifetime-guaranteed stainless steel liners in the fireplace, AND the oil burner (replacing the old one). And, build a new rustproof box around the opening of the oil-burner's chimney. Between one thing and another, they also offered to install leaf guards on all the gutters for free. We let them do the job. As they were leaving after the work, one of the techs gave us the first hint of trouble. " By the way, do you build big fires in there?" "No." "OK, because the liner narrows the width of the chimney, and it won't be able to handle large fires anymore. And, keep your glass doors to the fire box closed." When we lit our first fire, it was HORRIBLE! SMOKE poured into the house as if the flue were still closed! All we had in there was one of those "3-hour" logs that we had used many times in the past. We called, and were told that the problem was that our chimney was too short! And, that to compensate, for only another $150, they would take out the cap and put a turbine in, to help suck the smoke out. After THAT adjustment, we STILL had smoke coming into the house! Lots of smoke. We called Marc, and he told us that he might be able to replace the liner with a larger-diameter one, and he agreed to come to the house to look at the problem. BUT, he never came. Instead, one of the guys who did the work showed up, and told us the turbine was installed improperly, with square "shoulders", instead of a cone funnelling the smoke into the turbine. HE came back a few days later and did the retrofit. At this point, even on a breezy day, with the wind giving the turbine a boost, a test fire ALSO billowed smoke into the house. As of now, we have emailed Marc, and left messages with office staff, but have not heard from him in weeks. IF they make good, we will come back and revise this.

Several no shows; no calls.
Broke 1 flue, was preparing to leave.
Tested fireplace after they left -- smoke filled the house.
Was charged for stuff that wasn't provided.
Charged more than double for common materials.
Wanted to install much more expensive items than what we desired.

It wasn't perfect. They switched the two parts on the burner. It is basically the regulator that controls the pilot light. They were suppose to fix the pilot light and they switched the parts. The problem is that the new pilot light is too high. It is almost like another burner instead of being a simple pilot light. It was good basically that is why I said it is a slife. I thought it was a little bit high on the price but then I haven't done a job like that in 15 years so I am not an expert at that. And it is not working as well as it should so I say it was very expensive. It is not worth the price.

They were not prepared. They came with a bucket and a ladder and I said, "Don't you have a hose or a brush or something to clean the dirt out of the gutter? Or a hose to flush the dirt out of them?" And they said none. They charged me 50 dollars and they said they never did anything that cheap before. They were okay but I don't think that they did a good job, but of course I didn't climbed up there because I am too old to be climbing so I didn't climb there to see what they did. I think it must be a different way of cleaning gutters than just picking the leaves out with your hands. But then again I don't know. The pricing was good. They said they would come at a second time but they didn't. They came late. But they came and I wasn't going any place so that didn't make any difference to me. He did call me in and he said  he was running late. They were nice but I think they should have more equipment than they had but then again I don't know what equipment they should have. I would use them again in the future if the price is right.

George and Lenny were very professional and polite. They explained and showed me right away what was wrong with my previous liner. It was a mess and I was getting little puff backs. This could have been devastating in a couple months from now. They worked quickly and showed me step by step all improvements made. I'm satisfied. The company quickly sent documents to use for tax time.
