I first met Dan when he came to my home to pick up my dining room set and an antique china cabinet - to be refinished.  I was impressed by the care he took with my furniture.  He gave me his card - and I decided to get an estimate from him.  I had already gotten 3 other quotes.  Dan's was right in the middle.

Our day went very well.  Dan and his guys made me feel relaxed - and took away a lot of my anxiety.  They were polite, professional and funny.  When I looked like I was going to drop - one of the guys was right there with a chair for me to sit on.  I was carrying something in from my car, and the next thing I knew someone was taking it out of my hands. 

At the end of the day nothing was misplaced, broken or damaged in anyway.  They worked hard, didn't goof off to check cell phones, or get distracted in anyway.  They took a short lunch - and were back working immediately. 

I take care of my disabled husband - it has been a long time since I have felt taken care of - Dan and the boys were very successful in making me feel like the everything was OK.  I would highly recommend them. 

The guys from Economy Moving were very professional and the move went very smoothly.

This was the easiest move. They arrived on time at 9am. They looked over everything we had to move and then started taking the furniture that needed to be taken apart, apart. They wrapped everything up with blankets and wrap and then loaded the truck. We went to the new apartment and they looked it over and asked us what pieces went on which floor. They were very helpful with ideas on making each piece fit nicely in the room. They were great. We were finished by 1pm. Wonderful. They finished earlier than they expected, so the price we paid was less than the price we were quoted. Great company!

Dan not only offered to store our items in his truck for 3 days, but he refused to charge us saying that he could not use the truck anyway...Furthermore, he refused to charge us a premium rate for moving us from the ground floor to the second floor of the rental house...although I offered to pay whatever rate he wanted we were so grateful for the help....Instead, he charged us the regular rate for a normal move.... (So we tried to make up for his generosity and honesty by being generous on our part with big tips, of course...)
Dan likes to say that he personally hopes to make a difference in people's lives when they move...He has moved many times himself as a child and throughout his life, and knows how stressful it is for people to uproot and move to another place...
He wants people to understand that a moving company can be their partner in shouldering that undertaking...And Dan and his associates consistently 'walk the talk' by acting indeed like the best moving partners once could wish for in the face of facing the difficulties that any move entails- never mind that of facing the anxiety of a 'hurricane of the centuryand quot; bearing down on you!
We of course re commend them without reserve! they are the best!!!

The job didn't take as long as estimated so I got a break on the price. Overall the move was actually almost fun!

They are reputable and I find them to have great integrity. They've been extremely helpful and compassionate. They are also very courteous and prompt.
