The merchandise was so shoddy I walked out of there in 5 minutes. It was all very low end. They said it would take half an hour to get there, but it took an hour and a half!

The furniture was exactly as I had expected. Quality is so much better then anywhere else. The bottom of drawers are real wood and not flimsy. The delivery date was withing a few days of the date promised. Everyone proved to be professional and provided excellent customer service. I have reccomended them to friends and will be buying there again when my kids need furniture!

Had been in the market for a well-made queen-sized platform storage bed for over a year. Having had a bad experience with IKEA dressers, I did not want any part of the bed to mad of particle board. There are not a lot of styles to choose from in platform, storage beds, especially in solid wood.
The model that I found at Bare Boards has a solid wood base, headboard and footboard. The draws are constructed of plywood (which I don't mind) with solid wood fronts. There were a number of style options by the company that makes them, including some different configurations with the draws. I liked that there is a solid plywood platform under the mattress, as opposed to slats.
Since this was going up against a knee wall, I needed a shorter headboard, so I called and asked if it could be cut down. It couldn't but I was able to request that they use a footboard as the headboard, which worked out perfectly.
I have difficult staircase to the upstairs room where this bed needed to go. Despite that, the delivery went very quickly. I was shocked at how fast (minutes) they had it all put together. The delivery person asked that I try the draws before they left to be certain that I was satisfied - which I was.
I will be buying more furniture from them in the future.
