10 year old roof with a kitchen leak replaced last August by Anthony's roofing. The price of 12,500 was for CASH only. I told him I wouldn't have the cash for a few weeks and he was OK with that. He wouldn't be able to give me that price if I did not sign that evening. Unfortunately, I was not a member of Angie's list last year and went by his zero complaints with the BBB. Was recently told that there is no ridge vent installed and my roof would not be covered by GAF, called company and was told by "Bob" (Anthony was away) he was 99 percent sure one was in place. Never heard back from Anthony and had to open a case with GAF. After a few weeks they said Anthony was not cooperating and after communicating with a supervisor GAF agreed to email me a letter that the roof will be under warranty. When you pay a premium price you expect better service. Would not use him again and I do not recommend him when asked.
"very sorry that you feel this way Mrs [Member Name Removed]. You have stated that in fact 2 solar fans were installed on your roof , this is the ventilation system . You cannot use a ridge vent with fans , it is either one or the other , here's why : The 2 solar fans provided with your system are pulling fresh air into the attic space from the furthest points , this is what moves fresh air in and stagnant air out of the fan. If you were to install ridge vents as well , the fans would pull fresh air in through the ridge 3 ft above therefore only ventilating the small space between the fan and the ridge vent. The 2 solar fans are venting perfectly despite what someone had told you. I have reviewed your contract and there is no mention of ridge vent purposely due to the fact of having fans installed. Please note , the use of either ridge vent or fans is the ventilation , you cannot use both. I have also checked status of warranty with GAF and the warranty is and has always been in effect. I wish you would have asked me before writing a bad review that my company does not at all deserve.
