My husband and I had used this station previously for minor repairs. We found them competent and reasonable. Since they advertised themselves as being able to repair foreign cars, we suggested them to our son. Our son's car (a 2000 BMW), repeatedly stalled and had some other mechanical problems. Before making an appointment for repairs, my husband called them and inquired if they'd be able to work on a 2000 BMW; he was told by "Brian" without hesitation, that they would be able to work on the car. My son dropped off the car on Monday, August 10th along with a description of the problems he was experiencing. Since he is not a mechanic, he did not speculate on the cause of the stalling. On the afternoon of the 11th, I received a call from the station and was told that the cause of the stalling was holes in the hose. The mechanic told me that the replacement hose would arrive the following day, and that my son's car would be ready the following afternoon. He said the work would be a little over $600. My son was thrilled when he heard the price, and then requested additional work (repairs to both front windows among other things) to be done. On Wednesday, I drove with my son to pick up the car. We arrived a little before 5pm. The car was not yet ready, so we waited about 90 minutes for them to complete the work. The two mechanics seemed to be having some difficulty fixing the two front windows. At about 6:30, one of the mechanics finally took the car out for a test drive. He returned after about five minutes and gave my son the keys. My son paid over $1400. My son got less than FIVE blocks before the car stalled TWICE! There were also now two warning lights on the dashboard. We brought the car back to the now closed station. The next morning at 8am sharp, I brought the key in and told the mechanic what had happened. The mechanic who had worked on the car the previous day, said: "We only did what you asked us to do. It wasn't really ready yesterday..." I didn't understand this response, since we would have only been able to tell the mechanic the problems the car was experiencing; we did not speculate on how to treat the problems with the car. My husband, son, and I were understandably concerned, but still had confidence in the garage. When my husband called the garage, he spoke to the owner, Kenneth, who was extremely curt. My son picked up the car at 5:15pm. He was told that the mechanic had taken the car out twice with no problem The warning lights were still on! Mr. Felice said he didn't think the lights were a problem. My son left the shop. Guess what? The car stalled TWICE before he got off of Main Street! When he called Mr. Felice, he was told: "I don't know what to tell you, Giovanni..." The car is now at a different shop awaiting repair.
