We recently bought our new home. Grand View Landscaping had been used by the previous owner for lawn care. When we bought the house, we asked for a written estimate for all work other than lawn care. With out our consent, Grand View Landscaping came in weeded some of our beds, trimmed some of the trees and mailed us a bill for $434.50.
When we contacted them, we told them that we wanted a written estimate for work in advance; their answer was that the previous owners never asked.
We paid the final bill and terminated our relationship with Grand View Landscaping.
