Jack has extensive knowledge from being a former builder, and within 30 minutes we had agreed to a very fair price and confirmed his team would be on site first thing Monday morning. Jack and his team did an EXCELLENT job, going above and beyond the planned scope discussed while completing the job... in TWO days! He is thorough on his explanation. which other people have not been able to do. He tells you exactly what he is going to do, He then proceeds to exceed it. Didn't charge anymore money than what he had quoted. He believes in doing a good job. Very high quality work!

We had a dry well installed in our egress window well by another company a couple of years ago. But last month we had several days of heavy rain and our basement flooded again. The other company wouldn't show up to look at it so we called Jack Basement Man Brady. He brought his crew over two days later, found, and fixed, several deficiencies in how the dry well had been put in, and added a sump pump as extra protection. He also made some other improvements to keep the rainwater away from our foundation. Jack and his team were very thorough and the price was reasonable. He explained everything in great detail, maybe too much detail sometimes, and made sure we understood why he did everything. Also, it rained hard again a few days later and the drywell held up but we noticed a leak in a different spot. Jack came back and fixed that too, at no extra charge. We would highly recommend Jack for any basement flooding projects.

Excellent start to finish. Honest, conscientious and well informed

Jack Brady and his crew of James and Mike from Basement Man did a great job waterproofing my basement. There have been two days of rain since the job was completed and not a drop of water has entered my house. There were two areas where the foundation was cracked, and they patched them outside and in with a variety of sealants. Additionally, they used their sealants on areas outside and in that were adjacent to the problem areas for extra protection. They were thorough, friendly, and did the job in one day. Jack also provided a self-draining dehumidifier. I highly recommend Basement Man for resolving wet basement problems. Steve West Islip

Jack was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain our situation and the best way to fix it. We ran into an emergency in the night and he checked on us and gave us the best advice. Basement Man are very professional and there work is great.

While he was professional and on-time for the estimate appointment, he let me know he no longer holds licensing for water proofing.

Jack is very friendly, prompt, honest with his advise, problem solver and his pricing is decent. His 2 man crew were polite, cleaned up everything from where they dug and even cleaned our crawl spaces and under the stairs before using waterproof paint. Our foundation was leaking in certain areas and they dug down to the footer, used tar, blueskin and more tar. We have had 2 snow storms with melting as well as rain and NO LEAKS. Very satisfied.

Great. Jack Brady is one of the most honest and best residential contractors I've ever dealt with. Jack educated me on my new home's location and what water issues I could face going forward. He installed scudders and extended downspouts from 6 leaders off my gutters so water is no longer coming off my home and going into my home's foundation. He did the work in just over a day, was extremely tedious and clean, and kept me updated on everything throughout the process. He was a pleasure to work with and he will be helping me with more projects in the future.

It went very good. Other companies I contacted wanted to do an expensive job that I don't need, and it turned out Basement Man was right and he was able to save me for about $8,000.
