+ -1 moreI asked someone for a referral and I was given their name. I was absolutely happy with them; they are terrific people. I think the pricing was reasonable; I checked with a lot of roofers. The work was terrific and it’s a beautiful roof. They were very considerate. The wife is involved with the business and she sat down with me. They are in the neighborhood and they did a great job. They took me around the park where I live and showed me the roofs that they had done. They had different colored roofs and asked me what I wanted; I picked out a blue roof. They showed me all those things before they did anything. I think they were pretty reasonable. I would recommend them highly. They are family oriented and they are time considerate. If they do something and something develops, they’ll come back and fix it again.
Description of Work: I called American All-Type Roofing in September 2011. It took a while before they did the roof; it was months later. They also did other work for me; they did my ceilings. Before I got my roof I had a lot of water damage from the hurricane. I was having leaks in the bedroom and bathroom and the water was running down through the fixtures. I had to shut the electric off. I don’t know how many times they sealed the roof. Once you get a leak in a roof it is hard to pinpoint where the leak is coming from. You can get a leak in the bedroom but it could be coming from the front of the house. It took them three or four times but they finally stopped the leaks. They came back and said “We were here once but if the leaks don’t stop, call us and we’ll come back.” They came back several times and they finally fixed it. After we got that all done they put the roof on. John is the owner and he also had one of his sons help put the roof on. It’s a family affair.
